There are so many changes that are now being implemented sa Metro Manila Film Festival 2016.
In its launching, mayroong tagline na Ang Bagong MMFF CineSamaNa #Reelvolution which explains the new MMFF this year.
According to MMDA and MMFF Chairman Emerson Carlos there are changes in this year’s festival.
The New Wave Films category has been deleted and all there is are Full-length Feature Film section and Short Film section.
Ang submission of Letter of Intent ay sa July 8; deadline for early bird submission is Sept. 28; Oct. 19 ang deadline for submission of short films; Oct. 27 ang announcement of short films; Oct. 31, deadline for submission of full length films; Nov. 3 to 9 competition committee screening; Nov. 10, announcement of finalist; Nov. 17 deadline for additional requirements by selected films; Dec. 23, Parade of Stars; Dec. 25 to Jan. 7, 2017 film festival period.
Someone asked if films who have joined festivals abroad can still be part of the MMFF entries.
