PATRICK GARCIA recently announced that he will soon become a father the second time around because his non-showbiz girlfriend is now several months pregnant. “Yes it’s true. My girlfriend is now pregnant and we’re happily expecting a baby girl. It was never a secret. I just don’t talk about it because I like my private life to be private,” he said.
Dahil sa ginawang pag-amin ni Patrick ay muling nabuksan ang hindi masara-saradong isyu tungkol sa kanilang dalawa ni Jennylyn Mercado whom he has a kid, Alex Jazz. Hindi lingid sa kaalaman ng publiko that they are still not in good terms with each other.
Ayon kay Patrick, kahit na magkakaroon uli siya ng anak ay susuportahan pa rin niya si Jazz. Nagkaroon daw sila ng ‘di pagkakaunawaan ni Jennylyn because of Patrick’s lack of financial support to his son. “Pero feeling niya siguro I was really holding back because hindi ako nakapagbigay ng two months. Pero noong third month nakapagbigay ako pero nangyari na lahat ng mga iyon,” kuwento niya during the presscon of his newest ABS-CBN teleserye Apoy sa Dagat.
Sa kabila ng lahat, Patrick is still happy to have spent Christmas with his son. He sent a text message to Jennylyn’s adoptive mother Lydia at pinayagan daw siya nito na bisitahin ang kanyang anak. “She spoke to me na hindi alam ni Jen pero Tita Lydia is honest naman so afterwards sinabi rin niya kay Jen na nagpunta ako roon which is the right thing to do.”
Pinayuhan rin daw siya nito na ayusin nila ni Jennylyn ang anumang di nila pagkakaunawaan alang-alang sa kanilang anak. Patrick is now waiting for the right time to talk to Jennylyn. “Kung wala na siyang masyadong galit or whatever. I think naman Jen is a grown up to know that I’m still the father of Jazz and one day her heart will soften and allow me to see my son again.”
