May ganu’n?
“Okay, well, I’ve never had an issue, or past or background na baliw-baliwan, okay. So, and hopefully will never have one, knock on wood, but I think… Rita and I had talked, months ago, and I haven’t spoken to her during the recent hullaballoo ever since this come out.
“So, I really don’t know if it’s true. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Kasi nga nag-usap naman kami. As if ever may problema, I think its hers now, not mine. And aside from that gusto ko nang maging happy sa trabaho ko and everybody will be happy on the set. So sana kung ano man ang problema niya, sana maayos namin.”
“Actually, when we’re together, she doesn’t say anything bad naman in front of me, and she doesn’t naman say, I mean, I encourage, I told her nu’ng nag-usap kami if there’s a problem pa rin, mag-usap tayo which she likes to air it in press, so hindi ko alam kung ba’t ganu’n. I don’t wanna say anything bad kasi that’s not who I am, that’s not my personality.”
So sino ba ang may problema between them? “I really don’t know, it could be just gimmick, you know for the show… ahm, hopefully it’s just that lang and nothing else… ahm, if ever, anyway this is the first time that happened with any of my co-stars, so sana, hindi totoo ‘yung mga pinagsasabi niya.”
Pangalawa, may mga lumalabas ding isyu na diumano ay kinumpronta naman siya ni Gardo after nilang gumawa ng eksena sa show. May katotohanan ba ito? “Well, si Gardo, I talked to him last taping and… ahm, he told me na there was a scene na nagulat siya… ah, sa ginawa ko… I honestly have not been following the script… nag-a-adlib ako, and also my director encourages it. So there was this one scene that he told to, when I talked to him in person sabi ko, ‘Was there a problem?’ But on an actor’s point of view, sometimes you don’t know what are you going to do. Nasipa ko kasi ‘yung table but not to him or anything like that and siguro nagulat lang siya and he didn’t know how to react and he told me that, and I said ‘you know what?
“You know I don’t know what that issue was, ‘di ko talaga alam. Basta on my part there was an incident where I have come from shooting the night before. We packed up really late and I have told my coordinator, ‘Can you please move my call time to 9 (am) because I can’t make it at 7 because I’m puyat. And so, I think nagkaroon ng miscommunication and the production expected me at that time, so I really don’t know what happened if there was a walkout or anything.
“And then the following week na, lumabas ‘yung mga kung anu-anong mga intriga. So I said, when we get finally (have) the time to talk, we aired out our differences. Kaya last week nu’ng may mga lumabas pa rin, parang I was kinda disappointed. But like I said, I don’t wanna say anything bad.”
“No, no I will never be a superstar, I will never be a superstar like Ate Guy, I can only just do my best.
“You know in this industry, that’s all I strived for and ang gusto ko lang mapahusay ko ‘yung acting ko. ‘Yun lang po ang gusto ko. And, sana of course, I want a lot of people to watch our show.”
Sure na ‘to
