FIRST, OUR sincere apologies to Ms. Gigi Lara. Nasa iisang bakuran lang kasi kami sa istasyong aming pinaglilingkuran, pero siya pala ngayon ang namumuno ng GMA Artist Center.
And from what we’ve heard, Ms. Lara has begun ironing out the creases sa pagitan ng GMA at ni Aljur Abrenica particularly sa kagustuhan ng (ham at sham) actor to sever his contractual ties sa mga ibinigay nitong dahilan, flimsy as his reasons appear to be.
In the name of peace, sige, we welcome this conciliatory development.
But the fact remains, marami na ang nasabi ni Aljur against the network which gave him a name out of an obscure world fair enough para bigyan ng puwang ang mga showbiz aspirants na maganda o guwapo, sexy o matipuno lang, period.
Magpakatotoo lang sana si Aljur: he’s nothing but a man of form, NOT of substance!
Thanks to GMAAC, mukhang nataraugan si Aljur na kinakikitaan ngayon ng pagpapakumbaba. But his pa-cute humility far outweighs his downright cheap, baseless brickbats laban sa istasyong nakatuklas lang ng kanyang kaguwapuhan, MINUS his talent!
Gusto niya ‘ika n’yong ipakete siya bilang musikero? Hello, we’ve heard him sing live sa Zirkoh, lumilipad sa ere ang kanyang flats and sharps like loose missiles in an air strike!
I-package din siya ‘ika n’yo bilang serious actor? A much louder hello, dahil brighter than a sunny day (in-Ingles lang daw namin ang maliwanag pa sa sikat ng araw, o!), Aljur is a “processed meat”.
In fairness, the best ham is still found in Echague.
