NAGPAPASALAMAT si dating DILG Secretary at fiancé ni Kris Aquino na si Mel Sarmiento sa lahat ng mga bumati sa kanila ni Kris nang ianunsyo nito na engaged na silang dalawa.
“Salamat sa lahat ng bumati sa amin,” lahad niya.
Biro naman ni Kris sa mapapangasawa, “Natatawa lang kami ni Bimb kasi parang galit ka do’n sa pag-thank you mo sa kanila. Ha-ha-ha!”
Patuloy ni Mel, “Okay, I just wanted to say thank you very much kasi we have been so touched with the overwhelming kindness yung parang the happiness that you have shown are happy, thank you.
“Yon lang ang gusto naming sabihin. Maraming-maraming salamat po kasi ‘yung kaligayahan na nararamdaman ninyo para sa amin means a lot.”
Tinanong din ni Mel si Bimby ng, “A lot is asking if you’re okay with?”
Tugon naman dito nga anak ni Kris, “I’m very happy of course! You two deserved each other. Ha-ha-ha!”
Ipinakita rin ni Kris ang suot niyang commitment ring sa kaliwang daliri. Aniya, “Maluwag lang talaga sa akin because this is the smallest that they had.”
Ang sumunod ay seryosong kinausap naman ni Kris ang anak.
“Bimb now that he’s not here anymore won’t freak out anymore, I wanted to ask you, when I ask your permission last week, why was it so easy for you to say yes to me?” tanong ni Kris sa anak.
Sagot naman ni Bimby, “It’s because he loves you. No agenda at all. And you can really tell he wants to take care of you, me, and kuya. And basically, I can tell na whenever he looks at you his eyes twinkle-twinkle, you know.”
“And?” tanong ulit ni Kris na natatawa.
“Basta you can feel he genuinely loves you,” dagdag ni Bimby na sinagot ulit ni Kris ng, “Oh, thank you honey.”
