TALAGA PALANG may war between Shaina Magdayao and Angelica Pa-nganiban.
The war of the roses, we were told, have started more than two years ago pa and it was apparently caused by John Prats.
When Shaina and John broke up, Angelica reportedly saw the former as an enemy. Siyempre best friends sila ni John at nasaktan daw nang husto si Angelica nang magkahiwalay ang dalawa. Kay John kumampi si Angelica, bagay na ikinairita ni Shaina.
Pero parang nakaganti na rin si Angelica kay Shaina dahil sa kanya ngayon napunta si John Lloyd Cruz. Hindi nga ba’t very open na ang relasyon ng dalawa. May Instagram photo pa na ipinost si Angelica na kasama si John Lloyd on a Sunday at tila nagba-barbecue party sila.
SA TINGIN namin ay malaki talaga ang potential ni Elmo Magalona na maging sikat na matinee idol.
Napanood namin ang first movie team up nila ni Julie Anne San Jose, ang Just One Summer and he was exceedingly good for a new entrant in the movie-making industry.
Obviously, very raw emotions ang ipinakita ni Elmo as a young boy who developed hatred sa kanyang father na ang paniwala niya ay iniwan sila nang kanyang ina.
Bagay na bagay kay Elmo ang kanyang role at naitawid niya ito nang mahusay. He held on in his scenes with Joel Torre na gumanap na kanyang ama. An actor of a weaker sense of acting could have just melt down in their dramatic showdown but Elmo held on to his very raw, unpolished acting which gave him just the right emotions.
But we have to give it to Joel Torre who as a father wanting to build his relationship with his estranged son gave a noteworthy performance. Ang galing-galing ni Joel. All throughout the movie, his moments, the finest in the entire film, lingered in our mind especially doon sa confrontation scene nila ni Elmo.
But what’s beautiful is that Elmo and Julie Anne San Jose really look good as a couple in the movie. May chemistry sila. Julie was also good as a farm girl na nagkagusto sa anak ng kanyang amo.
Sabi ni Elmo before the premiere night of Just One Summer ay kinakabahan siya dahil first movie nila ito ni Julie Anne. He admits to a little pressure but with what we saw ay hindi dapat mag-worry si Elmo dahil maganda ang kanyang movie, matino ang pagkakadirihe ni Mac Alejandre at mahusay ang pagkakasulat.
Sana lang ay suportahan ng Julie-Elmo fans ang movie na showing na today.
NA-BASH NANG husto sa Twitter si Chuckie Dreyfuss when he announced on Twitter na willing siyang ibigay sa nangangailangan ang kabaong ng kanyang ina na hindi na-gamit dahil she was cremated.
“Our family would like to donate my mother’s coffin (she was cremated). Is there any family who’s in dire need of one? #ReliefPH,” tweet ni Chuckie.
“People need food, water & shelter. You could’ve just discreetly donated the coffin to the victims, not advertise it here,” tweet ng isang follower ng binata.
Hayun, sunud-sunod na ang natanggap na batikos ni Chuckie sa kanyang Twitter account which probably led him to say, “Nakakasama lang ng loob na ganun ang iba. Gusto lang namin mapunta sa talagang nangangailangan.”
Pero meron din namang nagtanggol sa former actor.
“@chuckiedreyfus @yendreyfus As someone who saw the wrath of #Sendong , Chuckie’s tweet is actually considered heaven-sent and well-meaning,” said one follower.
“Basta ako, I love you @chuckiedreyfus. I am so moved by how you are still thinking of others after such a loss. Your momma would be proud,” said another follower.
Sabi naman ng isa, “Good vibes. Just let him be. You offered the coffin with good intentions. Okay na yon. :)”
“Theres no such bad thing on chuckies decision. Sayang ang coffin, mabubulok lang. tulad ng sa lolo ko, sinayang ng Loyola,” say naman ng isang kampi kay Chuckie.
