WAGING-WAGI SI Anne Curtis ngayong taon. The beautiful and talented actress, television host, and product endorser has all the reasons to celebrate these days.
Patuloy kasi na binabagyo ng biyaya si Anne dahil maliban sa kanyang top-rating afternoon show na It’s Showtime ay successful din ang kanyang concert na Anne-bisyosa at mayroon pa siyang first Hollywood film na Blood Ransom. She also has an upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye titled Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw together with Kris Aquino and Robin Padilla.
Malaking karangalan din ang patuloy na inuuwi ng kanyang pelikulang No Other Woman where she played Kara Zalderiaga. Pumatok ito nang husto sa takilya last year and she and co-star Cristine Reyes were recognized as the Box-Office Queens at the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Foundation’s 43rd Box-Office Entertainment award.
Hindi pa rito nagtatapos ang kanyang suwerte para sa No Other Woman dahil matapos niyang magwagi ng Pinakapasadong Aktres award sa 14th Gawad Pasado ay nanalo naman siya ng Best Actress sa nakaraang 60th Famas Awards.
Hindi naman ito nakapagtataka dahil noon pa man ay kinikilala na si Anne sa kanyang husay sa pagganap. She previously won her first Best Actress award at the 34th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) for Baler and Best Supporting Actress at the 29th Luna Awards for the movie In Your Eyes.
“Thank you so much to the board members and jurors of FAMAS for giving me the Best Actress award for No Other Woman. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much,” Anne posted on her Instagram account after the 60th FAMAS Awards.
She also posted, “Dreams do come true. Thank you FAMAS for making that dream come true last night. Best Actress for No Other Woman. Mama, this is for you @carmcurtissmith YOU will forever be the BEST dramatic actress in the world for me. I love you.”
