ANNE CURTIS thought na katapusan ng career niya after the controversial slapping incident inside a posh bar months ago.
“Akala ko wala na, end na ng career ko. Akala ko wala na talaga akong career,” sabin niya in her TV interview.
She admitted that “at least there is a lesson learned. At least, alam ko na kung anuman ang mali ang nagawa ko I said sorry. I apologized right away and now I’m moving on to be a better person.”
Paano siya naka-cope up? “Kumapit ako sa mga taong nasa paligid who could be honest to me, who’d tell me the truth. Of course, Lord is the big factor kasi siya talaga ang nagbigay ng comfort because hindi mo talaga alam kung sino ba talaga ang totoo mong mga kaibigan unless your family is there.”
At 29, tila aminado si Anne na “matanda” na siya for the sirena role in her latest soap. She’s aware that the actresses who’ve played the part were in their early 20’s.
“Actually, kahit naman ako nu’ng in-offer sa akin then, tinanong ko, ‘hindi ba ako masyadong matanda?’ Ang isinagot naman sa akin, ‘Hindi naman’. Bagay pa rin daw.”
