ANNE CURTIS, from box-office movies to top-rating shows, a platinum music album, a sold-out Araneta concert, to numerous commercial and product endorsements. She is one of the most bankable and sought-after TV personality today. If there’s one thing that sets her apart from other celebrities, it’s her unique versatility. That is why when Cherry Mobile, the leading local handset brand, introduced its latest line-up of feature dubbed as the “Kiss Phones”, Anne was the top-of-mind brand ambassador.
Hindi ba natatakot si Anne na ma-over expose sa dami ng commercial, TV shows at pelikulang ginagawa niya? “I’m twenty seven, grab everything now, ‘di ba? You know, I’ve been in the industry for fifteen years. I think everything, slowly and finally everything is falling into place so, bakit mo itatanggi ang mga blessing na dumarating sa ‘yo? Lalo na if you can use it in a way to pay it forward. I’m happy sa lahat ng blessing na dumarating, you know. Five years ago, this are things that I’m praying about and now there, here, so, I’m really really greatful.”
Parang hindi napapagod si Anne sa dami ng trabaho. Ini-enjoy pa nga raw niya ang bawat project na ibinibigay sa kanya. “Sobrang active and sobrang busy. Sobrang pagod but no complain. Ginusto ko ito, ‘di ba? Sobrang happy lang. You know, 2011 was an amazing year for me. 2012 is looking great.”
May plano na kaya si Anne na lumagay sa tahimik kaya pinaghahandaan na niya ito? “Walang plano, ayaw ko ngang planuhin ‘yun. You know, if it’s the right time and it’s the right person. And I know that I’m ready and responsible enough to handle that, why not?”
Hindi pa ba right person ang dyowa ngayon ni Anne? “Ayaw kong mag-claim ng mga ganyan dahil masakit kapag hindi nangyayari. Alam natin ‘yan so, right now, I’m happy the way things are going.”
Sa sobrang hectic ng schedule ngayon ni Anne, may time pa kaya siya sa kanyang love life? “I think, it’s team effort, ‘di ba? Kailangan ninyong gumawa ng way, kahit papaano. Nag-effort ako na hindi magwo-work ng Sunday (ASAP). Talagang Sunday lang ang free day ko. Everything is falling in to place in all aspect and I’m very very happy.”
Napag-usapan din ang kissable lips ni Anne. “Dati nako-concious ako but thank you Angelina Jolie. All natural ito kahit tignan mo pa ‘yung mga sinaunang pictures noong kapapasok ko pa lang sa showbiz, itung-ito na ‘yun.”
Hindi pumasok sa isipan ni Anne na ipa-insure ang lips niya. “Hindi. Hindi naman uso ‘yan dito. Pang-Hollywood people na may pinapa-insure. Although, alam mong nakakatuwa kasi, may mga lumalapit din sa akin na mga brands na they want to do something with my kiss mark. Which is nakaka-flatter na nagiging trade mark na siya.”
Nagkita na ba kayo ni Lea Salonga? “Oo, nag-message siya nu’ng birthday ko and she greeted me. Sabi niya, first, happy birthday and second, I’m so sorry, I know that I will never say anything that would affect me. Nag-sorry siya for the whole hazzle. Hindi siya nagso-sorry kasi, wala naman siyang sinabing mali. Hindi naman talaga ako singer at sinabi naman ni Ms. Lea ‘yun. Performer ako, ‘di ba?”
Sinabi rin ni Anne na wala siyang galit o hinanakit sa mga binitawang salita ni Ms. Lea. Hindi talaga ako na-offend kasi, hindi naman talaga ako singer. Gusto ko nga siyang maka-duet, “Reflection”. Hahaha! I know naman it’s irresponsible journalism which is true and they admitted naman their fault which is good thing about it,”paliwanag ng Princess of All Media.
