“It comes with life. I used to be a brat. Now I think I’ve grown,” rason ng aktres kung bakit mabait na siya ngayon. “I appreciate what I have right now. I’m grateful for what I have. So, I don’t want to put burden on anybody I’m working with,” dagdag pa ni Cristine.
Kahit pala ang director na si Jeffrey Jeturian ay nakaranas din noo ng pagmamaldita ni Cristine.
Pag-alala ng director, “I’ve worked with her before. And na-experience ko yung time na maldita pa siya. Kaya na-surprise ako dito ngayon na ibang-iba yung Cristine na nakatrabaho ko.
“In fact, nung malaman ko na si Cristine ang makakatrabaho ko, medyo nagkaroon ako ng duda. ‘Naku, si Cristine, mamomroblema yata ako.’ Pero nothing of that sort happened. I’m surprised na si Cristine is more matured now, considerate of her co-workers at saka mas professional.”
Muling nagbigay ng paliwanag si Cristine sa pagbabago ng kanyang ugali.
“It’s more on ano, being good. As a person we grow, and yeah, you have to learn to be always better and don’t be stuck to where you were, na if it’s not good, why would you stay there?
“So it’s always a progress. I’m not saying I’m always gonna be like this. But it’s a progress na I’m working on,” pahayag ng nakababatang kapatid ni Ara Mina.
Eh, kumusta naman ba ang pagiging single parent niya kay Baby Amarah.
“Before pa po nagkaroon ng pandemic, I had to work na right away, so yon ang mas mahirap. Kasi yon ang time na bagong panganak pa lang ako kay Amarah and I got separated from her when she was only four months old. Yan yung devastated ako.
“Natuto na rin ako to live with it ‘coz I cannot do anything about it. I’m a working mom, I’m a single working mom. And also before the pandemic happened, I got to work abroad for the movie Untrue, tapos threes weeks, so wala pang pandemic noon,” lahad ni Cristine.
“When I had Amarah, she changed my life. And then, when I became a single mom, I had to work harder and I know I had to change,” huling pahayag ni Cristine.
