JANUARY NA naman. Maraming mga ‘di malilimutang pangyayari ang naganap sa ating bansa noong nakaraang taon. Ang mga ito ay bahagi na ng kasaysayan ng ating bansa and will serve as good reminders for us to be better Filipinos.
Bagong buwan, bagong taon, at bagong simula na naman ito para sa ating lahat. Isang mahabang paglalakbay na kung ano ang mangyayari sa hinaharap ay hindi natin alam. We can only pray and hope for the best.
Tinanong ko ang ilang mga kaibigan sa likod at labas ng showbiz what two things that they have wanted to do in 2014 but did not. Would they still do them in 2015? Why or why not? Here are their answers:
Martin Nievera – Executive check-up. Looking into a future burger business.
Kiefer Ravena – Win the UAAP Championship and travel more. Both yes because I really want to win the championship for my school, and it’s gonna be my last, so after that I’ll have more time to travel.
Bemz Benedito, Managing Director of Make Your Nanay Proud Foundation – I want to travel to the US, Korea or in Europe with my beloved mother, Mrs. Amelita Benedito, and my sister. I will continue to wish and work for it until it gets realized hopefully because it is so precious and important to spend quality time with my beloved mom now that she is a senior and simply savoring and smelling the flowers. I know that will also make her blissful.
Mauro Lumba – One is helping other people like the less fortunate people. Giving them a reason to smile for something. And the other thing is being positively involved in the society. This 2015, I would like to be able to achieve these goals.
Kaye Chua – That would be eating vegetables and saving money. Of course! These two things have been in my list for so long now. Haha! I really need to do it for my own good. I’m not getting any younger. I have a good feeling about 2015 though. Hopefully, I’ll be able to accomplish them to make room for new resolutions for the following years to come.
PJ Go – I want to finish my studies. Sabi ko last year gagawin ko iyon then na-focus kung paano magka-income and life adjustments. This time iba ang nararamdaman ko. Excited ako this 2015.
Avery Paraiso – Bungee jump and land a lead role in a movie/teleserye. I would still bungee jump because I’m an adventurous guy. I would still always want to land a leading role in a teleserye or movie if it hasn’t happened yet.
Joby Linsangan Moreno, Orange Blush Salon owner – Last year, two of my goals for 2014 were to save up more. Afterall as they say, it is not how much you make but how much you keep, which is certainly true. And that would be one of my most important goals for 2015; and to finally try a short (pixie) haircut. I found so many excuses of not doing it last year, but would definitely love to try a new look in 2015.
Happy New Year!
Kaibigan, usap tayo muli!
