YOUNG ACTORS should emulate Barbie Forteza who refused to have a grand debut party as she turns 18 today.
Admitting that she hates wearing high heels and gowns, Barbie chose to “adopt a room” at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center in Quezon City, the place where she usually celebrates her birthday for four years now.
She’s adopting a private room which will be renovated later. It will be converted to a special room at lahat ng kikitain sa paggamit nito will go to the charity wards. Si Barbie ang unang aktres na merong “adopt a room”. Sana’y meron pang ibang artista na sumunod sa kanyang magandang adhikain.

HUMAHATAW ANG mga baguhang sina Jeff Carpio at Miggy Campbell sa kanilang careers. Si Jeff ay kasama sa Florante at Laura ng Gantimpala Theater Foundation. Aba, nakapag-guest siya sa ANC, ha? Aside from this, meron din siyang role sa Wattpad presents I’m 20 but still NBSB with Ritz Azul.
Si Miggy naman ay kasama sa Pare, Mahal Mo Raw Ako movie with Michael Pangilinan. Ang alam namin ay gagawin rin siyang image model ng isang travel bag line. Aside from this, he is also cast in the Dawn Zulueta-Richard Gomez teleserye.
Oh, there’s a newbie pala named Kevin Poblacion. This Pinoy from Canada is trying to eke out a living as an actor at bagong alaga ng manager ni Nora Something, si Boy Something. Based on the photos that we saw, he looks nondescript, hindi artistahin at mukhang walang future sa showbiz. Ang tipo niya ang pang-indie lang, pang-ekstra at hindi leading man material.
