MOVIE QUEEN of the New Generation. That’s how Bea Alonzo is being called nowadays. To some, it was a grabe-sa-hindi-lang-grabe na hype. To others, it was an IDIOTIC exercise. Still to others, it was a MISNOMER.
Actually, her last soap was a BIG FLOP, hindi nag-rate, hindi pinag-usapan. This is probably the reason why medyo matagal siyang nawala sa eksena sa TV.
To whoever coined the Movie Queen of her Generation title, you know how to please your god. But please, enough of your SHENANIGANS. She’s not deserving of the title. She’s nowhere near the league of Nora Aunor and Sharon Cuneta.
Sa spinmasters ni Bea, ‘wag n’yong gawing katatawanan ang aktres. Don’t be a FOOL.
“Marami ngang queen pero dapat iisa lang ang movie queen and i think Bea is not deserving for that title oo naging BOQ sya dahil kay JLC wala naman syang BOQ without JLC. at wala siyang major acting awards to label her as Movie Queen paano ka naman naging movie queen kung di ka man lang na recognize sa galing mo sa movie, dahil lang sa kumita? bakit dahil lang ba sa kanya kaya kumita,” paniwala ng isang fan.
To the rescue naman ang isang avid Bea fan and said, “Movie queen of the new generation title for Bea Alonzo, why not? Unang una na marami na siyang nagawang hit movies, kahit 1st, 2nd, 3rd place pa yan sa boxoffice basta hit pa rin at hindi nawawalan ng offer year after year, at naaaknowledge ang acting talent nya by consistent nominations. Actually, comparable ang movie career ni Bea sa mga movie queens of the 80s and 90s like Vilma, Sharon and Lorna, pero sa image parang Lorna Tolentino talaga ang dating nya, or pwede rin dawn zulueta, mukhang magtatagal talaga siya like them na may pinaghalong beauty and talent.”
