Long-time showbiz couple Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo got married at San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church in San Juan, Batangas, just this morning at 7 AM! The ceremony was officiated by Father Tito Caluag. Spotted at the wedding are celebrities Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Paolo Abrera, Joyce Bernal, Rory Quintos, Suzy Entrata, Sharon Cuneta and husband Senator Francis Pangilinan, with mega daughter KC Concepcion. Reportedly, they will hold their reception in an island, also somewhere in Batangas.
According to our sources, the breakfast and lunch reception will be done at San Juan, Batangas. They will then proceed to a beach in Anilao for the dinner reception.
No media are allowed to enter the premises of the church, as exclusive rights to the coverage of the wedding are given to ABS-CBN.
Willie Revillame received a text and read it aloud on Wowowee a few hours ago that the couple imposed a P5 million fine for the wedding’s suppliers if anyone squealed about the wedding’s date, location and other details. Cristy Fermin, also a columnist of Pinoy Parazzi, sent an update to Willie Revillame about the Juday-Ryan wedding.
The wedding invitations come with one piece of flipflop, a map and with the words “Eto na ‘to.. Inuman na. Punta kang nakaputi.” The invitation came in a shoebox with a treasure hunt effect. Guests were sent emails and texts by Judai and Ryan then were given the shoebox with the flipflop, instructions and a map on how to get to the reception venue. No mention of the name of the hotel or resort was written on the invitation – just a cryptic “X marks the spot”. They ended the invitation letter with the sentence “Secret lang natin ‘to ha!”. The guests will get the other white flipflop to be worn at the beach resort reception. So, that’s how they were able to make the wedding such a secret!
Noel Ferrer, Ryan Agoncillo’s manager, said that the wedding was planned in only under two months! The date was based on Feng Shui and astrology, coincidentially the same with the Sharo-Kiko and Lucy-Richard wedding dates – April 28. Everything was planned by both Ryan and Judai, inviting just 80 friends and family. Yohan, Judy Ann’s adopted daughter, was also dressed up as a little bride after seeing how beautiful her mother Judai was.
Rory Quintos, one of the ninongs, was also surprised that the wedding was held in a church and the fact that they were all in a beach attire. The director said about the couple – “They deserve each other. They always like to have fun.”
The wedding paved the way for Judy Ann’s family to be completed for the first time in years. Judai’s father was very emotional when he gave her daughter to Ryan as her wife.
After the church wedding, the guests proceeded to Balai Laiya for a brunch that lasted from 9 AM to 11:30 AM. Chynna Ortaleza, a model turned chef, also helped with the preparation of the food. Ryan changed into a long-sleeved white top and Judai into a tube white dress. They then proceeded to Balai Laiya, a three-hour drive or a two-hour boat ride from San Juan.
A wedding video special will be aired on ABS-CBN, anchored by Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda.
