Carlos Agassi, muling nabuhay ang TV career

Carlos Agassi has found a continued career on TV, or so we thought noong una.

Still yummy at his age, nagbabalik si Carlos Agassi via Carlo J. Caparas’ “Ang Panday” where he plays the long-lost brother of Flavio. Bale sugo siya ni Lizardo (Christopher de Leon), Flavio’s major nemesis.

Kaso, somewhere in the old past ay napatay ni Flavio—by his magic sword—ang kanyang kapatid in a kawal’s gear. Nang tanggalin ni Flavio ang maskara nito, too late, he has slain his brother.

Ang buong akala namin ay “namatay” na rin ang TV career ni Carlos, but only to stage his reappearance sa makabagong panahon, kung saan si Flavio plays two characters – Miguel and Juro.

Still under the evil wings of Lizardo, muling nagkumprontahan ang magkapatid from the old world, at ito ang exciting attraction sa mga serye ng tagpo sa “Ang Panday”, when both old and new dimensions intersect to let good triumph over evil.

WALANG TAO ang walang utang, we’re even born with it. Pero sa usapin tungkol sa pagkakautang, it always comes with a sense of responsibility: pinautang tayo out of tiwala, therefore, we should know how to pay back.

From last week’s episode of Ismol Family, paying one’s debts is a shared responsibility. Ang mag-asawang Jingo at Maja ang may atraso, kung kaya’t humanap sila ng paraan para ma-settle ‘yon.

This is one important value na dapat nating isabuhay. No matter how big or small our accountabilities may be, obligasyon nating bayaran ‘yon so as not to lose the trust ng taong nagpautang o nagpaluwal ng pera sa panahong kinailangan natin ng tulong.

Sa darating na Linggo, ano na naman kayang mahalagang aral ang mapupulot natin sa “Ismol Family”, na nagkakagulo man ang ibang mga tauhan sa kuwento, pero behind the familial conflict lies a lesson or two worth learning?
