NAKAKATUWA NAMAN ANG balitang nagde-date daw ngayon sina Charice at David Archuleta. Wala namang masama dahil they are both single, ‘di ba? Although some believe that there is something going on between the two young singers, Charice flatly denied the rumor and said that David is a good friend.
Hindi nakaligtas si Charice sa isyung ito when she was asked during her guesting on Billboard’s Live Q&A kung iniisip ba niya ang cute heartthrob ng American Idol dahil puno siya ng emosyon kapag kumakanta ng mga love songs.
“What a question, what a question. First of all, I’m friends with David Archuleta and he is a great guy. Second, singing love songs with emotion, I think it’s part of being a singer. Every time you sing, you should feel the song even if you’re not in love. You just have to understand the words.”
Dagdag pa niya, “What I do is every time I sing a love song, I’m adapting myself to the song. If it’s a sad song, I ask myself, what if these words happen to me, what if I fail?”
Iniaalay raw ni Charice ang kanyang mga performances sa kanyang pamilya at mga kaibigan, but never to a special someone. “If it’s a love song, I dedicate it to my friends and family but not David Archuleta.” Wala raw silang itinatagong relasyon ni David.
Ang bilis talaga ng panahon dahil parang kailan lang nang sumali si Charice sa Little Big Star hanggang sa siya ay maging isang YouTube singing sensation. Ngayon ay dalaga na siya at nali-link na sa mga guys.
Mukhang career muna ang priority ni Charice ngayon at nasa backseat ang usaping pag-ibig. It seems she is following the advice of Mareng Oprah (Winfrey) to concentrate first on her career before she entertains suitors. Sinabi noon ni Charice na okay naman daw ito sa kanya at hindi siya nagmamadali to have a boyfriend.
“Singing is my life and I’m not going to stop singing. But you know, I have to pursue my goal and that is to finish my studies, that’s my priority,” she said. Sa kabila ng kaliwa’t kanang showbiz commitments ay hindi pinababayaan ni Charice ang kanyang pag-aaral. In fact, nag-aaral siya ngayon ng information technology sa isang online school.
Alam kong darating ang tamang lalaki sa buhay ni Charice sa tamang oras at pagkakataon. Who knows her prince charming is just around the corner?
