YOUNG SINGING SENSATION Charice guested on The Buzz’s True Confessions. Hindi na mapigilan ang kanyang patuloy na pagsikat sa buong mundo. Charice stunned the world with her brilliant voice. Napahanga niya si Oprah Winfrey who calls her “the most talented girl in the world.”
Charice made Filipinos proud once more with her recent international achievements. She has just finished shooting her Hollywood debut film titled Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel where she plays the rival singer of the Chipmunks in a singing competition. Hindi raw siya makapaniwala na ang kanyang unang pelikula ay isang Hollywood movie.
She sang the Star-Spangled Banner in-front of 60,000 spectators during a major baseball event between the Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants. Nakita raw siyang kumanta sa Oprah show kaya inimbitahan siyang kumanta sa event. David Foster whom Charice considers her mentor made a special musical arrangement of the American national anthem for her. She was also one of the special guests in his show kung saan nakasama ni Charice si Brian McKnight.
Marami na ang nag-aabang sa pangatlong guesting ni Charice sa The Oprah Winfrey Show na mapapanood sa May 18. She will perform her first American single titled Note to God which Charice sang on The Buzz. Charice calls her Mommy Oprah kasi nahihiya raw siya kapag kaharap ang television host while Oprah calls her little girl.
At the end of the interview ay tinawag namin si Mommy Racquel to sing You and Me Against the World with her daughter. The song is included in Charice’s latest album titled My Inspiration under Star Records. Mommy Racquel said, “Nagpapasalamat ako dahil naging mabuti kang anak. Sana kahit na ano ang iyong marating ay huwag mong kalilimutan ang Diyos. Sana ay huwag kang magsasawang suportahan kami.”
