“It was actually a work celebration,” aniya. “And ang ganda kasi… sa Marian nagkaroon kami ng full dance number with Marian (Rivera) and Julie (Anne San Jose) that I never did in my life. ‘Yong talagang dance lang, ha? Na walang kanta. Tapos nag-number din ako sa Sunday All Stars.
“And then first time ko ring pumunta sa Philippine Arena. Kumanta ako ng half-time show sa PBA, sa laban ng KIA at ng Black water. I was tensed. Super-laki!” ang Philippine Arena ang kanyang tinutukoy.
“So, talagang fulfilling na worth… birthday. And the after that, pumunta ako sa Indonesia to sing for MNC TV. 25th anniversary nila. In-invite nila ako roon. Meron ding Malaysian singer and then Indonesians, tapos an Indian singer.
“Kasi parang small ASEAN (Association Of South East Asian Nations) event na rin iyon. Saglit lang ako sa Indonesia. In and out lang. Parang nagpunta lang ako ng Cebu!” tawa niya ulit. So, talagang fulfilling na worth… birthday.”
“Yes. I did a TV show there. And a movie also, ‘yong A Special Symphony.”
“Right now I’m concentrating here in GMA. I thank God I have three shows here now… ‘yong Marian, Sunday All Stars, and Strawberry Lane. So, medyo dito muna ako hanggang December.”
Kahit magkaroon ng offers ulit sa kanya to do projects in Indonesia, hindi pa pala siya puwede dahil sa mga commitments niya rito? “Mahirap. Oo. If ever, it has to be like… so big siguro.”
“It’s my first single sa new album ko under Universal Records called Soundtrack. It’s a remake album ng mga favorite theme songs of movies. At kasama na rin do’n ‘yong song from Seasons Of Love na isa pang GMA series. Na… it’s a good good new offbeat fun OPM song,” sabi pa ni Christian.
