NAKADALAWANG AWARD na napanalunan si Christian Bautista sa katatapos na 7th PMPC Star Awards For Music. Ito ay ang Male Pop Artist of the Year para sa kanyang album na Soundtrack under Universal Records, at ang Music Video of the Year para naman sa kanta niyang The Way We Are, kung saan nakasama niya si Rachel Ann Go at idinirek nilang dalawa ng brother niyang Joshua Bautista.
“It’s really a real treat!” nangiting sagot ni Christian nang matanong kung ano ang kanyang feeling sa dalawang award na napanalunan. “And parang mas lalakas ang loob ko pa to be better as a performer and as a singer. Alam mo ‘yon? Every year dapat lagi kang may bago na inilalabas eh, to challenge yourself.”
Plano raw niyang magkaroon ng celebration o party kaugnay nito.
“Oo. Celebration dapat! Siguro mga a week after.
May Christmas gift na kaagad sa akin, kaya I’m so happy. Thank you sa PMPC. Thank you!”
Who Is She To Me. It’s a song that talks about a new love brewing and blossoming into something that changes everything into someone’s life. This is my first single to debut in the UK. It was written by Michael Shepstone of The Rockes and Clive Lukover of BBC1 and produced by Christian de Walden who has produced hits for Engelbert Humperdinck among others.”
The said song was musically arranged by Randy Kerber who earned an Oscar nomination for Best Original Score for the movie Color Purple and nominated for a Grammy for his arrangement of Over The Rainbow for Barbra Streisand and was sound engineered by Christian Robles.
Ang music video naman nito ay idinerehe ni Leon Mitchell and was shot entirely in London.
“It will be available soon on your favorite music video channels aand YouTube. You can check out the teaser by following this link:https//Youtu.be/OSSRfowk-pA,”excited na sabi pa niya.
“I don’t know what’s gonna happen. Pero gusto ko talaga maka-break do’n. So. whatever happens whether good or bad, at least nag-try ako.”
Any acting project or teleserye for him sa GMA 7 coming up? “Baka next year na lahat. Kasi katatapos lang ng My Mother’s Secret at saka ‘yong hosting ko sa To The Top eh, so next year na ulit.”
“Hanggang January. Pero rito ako mag-spend ng Christmas at New Year with my family sa Cavite.
Malapit na ang Pasko. Loveless pa rin siya? “Secret!” sabay ngiti niya.
May Christmas wish ba siyang gustong hilingin for this year?
