In a problematic state kasi ang isa sa mga bidang aktres dito, her reportedly unstable psychological well-being as the culprit. Tila kasi ang kinakaharap nitong domestic hitch is like a luggage that she brings all the way to her place of work, kaya maging ang mga inosente niyang co-star ay apektado sa trabaho.
A case in point was a recent taping, kung saan all set na ang buong cast sa isang malaking eksenang kukunan. Kumpleto na ang iba pang major stars, support, bit players at ilan pang mga on-camera talents, pero hindi makarolyo ang mga camera dahil nasa loob pa ng dressing room ang aktres.

May cut-off time kasi ang aktres, beyond 12 midnight ay dapat nakunan nang lahat ang kanyang mga eksena. Pero ang nakakatawa, wala pang alas-dose ng hatinggabi ay all set na siyang umuwi pero saan ka, ang dami pa palang sequence na kukunan sa kanya!
Dahil dito, kaysa patuloy sumakit ang ulo ng buong cast at staff, the management had to put its foot down: tapusin na ang pa-labas na ‘yon. Like an egg waiting to get hatched, nakakalungkot na napisat ang itlog before it cracked open to see the cute, little chick inside it.
FOR TALENT MANAGER Shirley Kuan to express in her tweet that “Startalk is out to destroy Raymart and Claudine,” based on the program’s two-part feature on the couple was a matter of opinion. Malaya si Ms. Kuan na magbigay ng kanyang komento, so is the multitude of online viewers na nakatutok habang umeere ang show.
However, in my capacity as a senior staff of Startalk TX, destroying the couple in any way was never the peg nor the intention nang inilatag namin ang istorya. A major issue that it is, the program thought it best to chronicle the events via a timelined presentation. Si-nimulan namin ito sa mga isyung kinasangkutan noon ni Claudine, her alleged liaisons included, that imminently threatened to cause her marriage to crumble.
Fast forward. Hindi puwedeng dedmahin ang eksena ng pagwawala ni Claudine kamakailan sa banko reportedly involving a five million-peso deposit under an and/or account which the actress wanted to withdraw. In the midst of all this controversy, Startalk TX even aired the couple’s official statement en toto.
Ngayon, sabihin ni Shirley na sinisira ng programa ang mag-asawa, when all it reported was based on hard facts. How could there be a smear campaign against the couple—if this is what Shirley believes—gayong hindi ba niya naisip man lang that the parties involved are GMA talents who need to be protected?
Shirley’s opinion is a distorted one. Worse, her thoughts about Startalk TX’s ploy to destroy the couple amount to nothing but a figment of her “shirlicious” imagination!
WALANG GAGAWIN SINA Jose Manalo at Wally Bayola para hindi sila ipagmalaki ng kanilang mga discoverer, their godfathers in Eat Bulaga, most specially Vic Sotto.
Abangan sa TV5 ang programang The Jose & Wally Show Starring Vic Sotto, isang kakaibang sitcom kung saan tatalakayin nito ang mga totoong kaganapan sa buhay ng mga taga-showbiz. Muling magsasanib-puwersa ang kombinasyong ito, but with the joint forces come Jose and Wally’s repeated pro-mise never to fail their mentors (or tormentors?) na naniniwala sa kanilang comic tandem.
Jose and Wally’s chemistry on Eat Bulaga has already passed the test, their partnership on TV way beyond their daily noontime show included. ‘Yun nga lang, this a La Pugo and Tugo pair during the 50s has yet to click on the widescreen, flopchina kasi ang Scaregiver movie nila noon, ‘no!
