EIGHT YEARS munang naging kaibigan ni Cora Waddell ang top model na si Terence Lloyd bago nila parehong napagdesisyunan na magpakasal last July of 2018.
Kinikilig na kuwento ni Cora, “He came to me and said, after eight years, sabi niya, ‘I don’t wanna be your friend anymore.’ Sabi ko, ang gilas naman nitong lalaking ito. Kinilig talaga ako, ‘Oh my God, ito ba yon?’
“After all these years of flirting, all these years of joking, seryoso pala yon, may halaga siya. Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘you know, I’m gonna believe in magic just one time, I’m gonna take a chance.’”
Hindi naman naniniwala si Cora na maapektuhan ang nasimulan niyang showbiz career sa ginawang pag-aasawa.
“I never felt that married or marital status should make a difference in what you do for a living lalo na if you’re professional and you take your job seriously and handle it with respect,” katwiran niya.
Itutuloy din daw niya ang pag-aartista kahit ano pa ang mangyari. In fact, leading lady siya ngayon ni Christian Bables sa pelikula ng Regal Entertainment na Recipe For Love na idinirek ni Joey Reyes at showing na sa Nov. 21.
“Oh yes, yes. I still aspire to continue with my work and do better. More married roles but siyempre family is very important and I believe to make a good future you have to start at home,” she said.
Ayon sa aktres, malaki ang naitulong sa kanya ni Christian kung paano maging mas open sa mga katrabaho.
“Sa project na ito, he really took me out of my shell coz I’m a very quiet reserved person.
“Kasi kaming mga models tahimik lang kami, hindi kami matsika at work and Christian brought me into a world of taping that you can joke, you can talk, you don’t have to give everyone as much spaces in the modeling world and he really open me up and made me a friendly person,” sabi pa niya.
