INDEED, IT doesn’t take as much effort for any actor to make his audience cry or laugh, tila ang mas mahirap para sa kanya ay ang pakiligin ang kanyang manonood as though his character is close to reality.
Ganito ang nagkakaisang pakiramdam ng press who attended the grand presscon of Star Cinema’s She’s The One starring Dingdong Dantes and Bea Alonzo. Common knowledge that both Dingdong and Bea are already taken: ang aktor kay Marian Rivera at ang aktres naman kay Zanjoe Marudo.
Yet sa trailer pa lang ng Mae Czarina Cruz-megged romantic comedy na ito, it’s as if Dingdong (Wacky) and Bea (Cat) have found one another after their break-up with their respective real-life partners.
Samantala, Enrique Gil na sinasabing the Next Ultimate Leading Man provides a refreshing look, kung saan for sure ay nakikinita na niya that he’s going towards Dingdong’s career path.
Showing on October 16, She’s The One marks the first time na pagsamahin ang Primetime King ng GMA at isa sa mga teleserye queen ng ABS-CBN.
BOY ABUNDA’S The Bottomline is an erudite yet engaging program that comes after the mindless Banana Split Extra Scoop every Saturday night, or early Sunday morning?
Anuman ang time slot ng palabas ni Kuya Boy, we make sure na pinaglalalaanan namin ito ng panahon most specially these past weeks when its host has been doing a series of pork barrel interviews: mula sa una nitong panauhin na si Senate President Fanklin Drilon at ang latest nitong episode na aming tinutukan with guest COA Chief Grace Pullido-Tan.
Dahil kasagsagan ng pork barrel scam, The Bottomline has temporarily foregone its format kung saan meron munang diskusyon si Kuya Boy among the so-called bottomliners—either mainstays or panellists na may kaugnayan sa paksang tinatalakay—that segues to the interview proper of his guest (interspersed with reaction shots of the bottomliners hauled inside the war room), and finally ends up in a free-for-all, then Kuya Boy’s summation.
Sa mga nakalipas na Sabado, it has been Kuya Boy and his guest in a tell-all interview. Bahala na ang mga manonood to pass their judgment. But the objective of the show is to flesh out what lies underneath the pork barrel scam sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang mukha who represent opposite sides.
Kung tutuusin, marami pang personalidad ang puwedeng maimbitahan ng The Bottomline for the entire nation to better understand why we, as beneficiaries of government services, have been shortchanged, if not robbed what’s due us.
Kuwento ito ni Bianca (Jillian Ward) who seems to live in a perfect world: raised by perfect parents, with a perfect school life, perfect pet dog and perfect friends.
Pero magbabago ang mundo ni Bianca nang sumulpot si Jose (Zyrel Jestre), a transferee from a public school, na kanyang naging kamag-aral at numero unong threat.
Jose, a poverty -stricken but brilliant kid starts to steal the attention from Bianca including her friends and teachers. When he nips the highest score in class exams and becomes top 1 student, nagbanta si Bianca na didispatsahin niya ito.
Luckily, her guardian and uncleTito A (played by Arnnel Ignacio), a chef, has a surefire way to get rid of enemies: at ito’y sa pamamagitan ng black bibingka. But part of the secret recipe is spending three days with Jose and also doing three good deeds for him.
Patunay na ang kuwentong ito ay may mga reward sa pagnanais magkaroon ng kaibigan. Most importantly, no world can be perfectly happy without love and friendship.
