DEREK RAMSAY RECENTLY guested on The Buzz’s Tough Ten segment. He is one of the hottest hunk actors in the country today. Derek takes time out from his busy showbiz career by enjoying in sports like rugby and frisbee. His three-year relationship with beautiful actress Angelica Panganiban is going stronger.
He stars in the horror movie T2 with Diamond Star Ms. Maricel Soriano. Derek was excited and nervous when he learned he will be working with Maria. “She’s a great actress and really nice. Sobrang bait.”
Derek learned how to be more focused on his career from John Lloyd Cruz whom he worked with in One More Chance and Maging Sino Ka Man.
Nag-aalala raw siya kay Angelica because of her health problems. Likewise, she is also worried because Derek is an extreme sports enthusiast. He has a knee problem at gusto ni Angelica na magpahinga muna siya sa paglalaro.
Angelica celebrated the Holiday Season with Derek and his family in Cagayan de Oro where they enjoyed wild water rafting.
Derek enjoys extreme sports because he wants to conquer his fears.
Na-insecure na ba siya sa mga naging ka-partner ni Angelica? “No. I’m totally against jealousy. I’m secure with myself and my relationship with Angel. Jealousy is bad for me. There should be trust in a relationship.”
May balita na may sinundo siyang babae sa isang university. He admitted na may sinundo siya sa Ateneo at La Salle pero sinabi niyang mga kaibigan niya raw ito sa paglalaro ng frisbee. They are his friends before he became an actor.
Derek and Angel also face problems like ordinary couples. “We go through problems. It’s normal. Tampuhan lang,” he said.
If he were to ask for forgiveness from Angelica, what would it be? Ang pagiging hard-headed raw niya pagdating sa paglalaro ng sports.
