“I can do any kind of genre naman. I felt, lahat naman ng genre ay valuable to an art when it’s open with a heart. Like before, when I was doing matatapang na movie like “Paraiso ni Efren,” all of this things.
Nang gawin ni Direk Maryo ang pelikulang Magnifico, humakot ito ng awards at kinilala ang husay niya as a director abroad. Alam nitong kagigiliwan ng manonood ang bago niyang obra for television. Positive element, good values, inspirational kaya’t walang duda magna-number one ito sa TV ratings.
Ayon kay Direk Maryo, “Hindi kailangang magkaroon ng miracle dahil every things we receive from God is a miracle. When you wake-up in the morning, i’ts a miracle, everyday is a miracle.”
Kasama rin nagsisiganap sina Gloria Romero, Dante, Rivero, Angelu de Leon, Katrina Halili, Neil Ryan Sese, Luz Valdez, Ces Quesada and Kuya Germs Moreno.
