ERICH GONZALES, ANDI Eigenmann and Empress Schuck are three of the prettiest girls in showbiz. At such a young age, they can pit acting talents with the veterans in the industry. Kaya nilang umiyak, tumawa, magalit, magpakilig, maging inosente at maging sexy ayon sa hinihingi ng script. Kaya naman hindi maikakaila na umaarangkada nang husto ang kanilang mga careers at sila ay tinagurian ngayong mga prinsesa ng teleserye. Sila rin ang mga bagong Pantene endorsers.
Their achievements didn’t happen overnight. They have their fair share of hits and misses, successes and failures pero ang importante ay wala sa vocabulary nila ang salitang pagsuko.
Empress’ biggest break happened ten years after she entered showbiz. She is now dubbed as the Empress of Drama with her afternoon drama series Rosalka.
Si Andi naman, bagama’t galing sa isang kilalang showbiz clan ay hindi nagpakita agad ng kanyang interes sa pag-aartista. She was part of the cast of “Prinsesa ng Banyera”. Sumali rin siya sa MYX VJ Search in 2009 and she was the second house player for Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus. Pagkatapos ng tatlong taon after co-starring in Prinsesa ng Banyera, muling nagbalik si Andi sa Agua Bendita and this time siya na ang bida.
Matagal ko nang kilala si Erich because I was one of the jurors (together with Ms. Gloria Diaz and Direk Lauren Dyogi) in the 2005 Star Circle National Teen Quest where Erich emerged Grand Questor. I’m very happy for Erich dahil unti-unti na niyang nakakamit ang mga pangarap sa buhay. Noon pa man ay fighter na si Erich. Kahit pinupuna si Erich sa SCQ ay lumalaban pa rin siya. Biniro ko siya nang magkita kami. Sabi ko dalaga na siya. Sinagot niya ako ng, “Sobra, Tito Boy!” Ang bilis talaga ng panahon and after four years she finally got her acting break when she topbilled on Katorse.
And talking about the three lovely teens, wala bang mga bubuyog na umaaligid sa kanila ngayon? Afterall, ang prinsesa ay dapat may prince charming. In one of my interviews with Kris (Aquino), she revealed that Coco Martin is courting Erich. Siyempre ay hindi ko pinalampas na tanungin si Erich tungkol dito. “Nagte-text siya. He’s very nice to me. I don’t think nanliligaw siya.” Ang hirit ko kay Erich ay depende kung ano ang nilalaman ng mga texts gaya ng I love you o puwede ka bang dalawin. Ayaw raw niyang mag-assume na nanliligaw nga sa kanya si Coco.
Kumusta naman ang lagay ng puso ni Andi? Masaya raw siya and it shows on her face. Empress is being linked with Felix Roco, her co-star in Rosalka. Friends lang daw sila at hindi pa siya puwedeng makipag-boyfriend dahil bata pa siya. “Lahat po ng mga bagay ay may tamang panahon.”
In showbiz, longevity is the name of the game. Maaaring sikat ka ngayon pero bukas wala nang nakakaalam sa pangalan mo. The road to the bigtime is filled with lethal landmines that can mercilessly kill dreams if you don’t make the right moves. Kaya dapat mahalin ang trabaho. And you also need to pray hard.
