The star-studded comedy, drama and slice of life film of 2013 Four Sisters and a Wedding led by Toni Gonzaga, Bea Alonzo, Angel Locsin, Shaina Magdayao and Enchong Dee is a staple legend in terms of Philippine cinema. Apart from the great performances of the actors, the plot itself is highly relatable to Filipinos, particularly those who are tightly knit.
Now, a much awaited prequel, we didn’t even know we needed until it was announced, Four Sisters Before The Wedding finally premiered last Friday, December 11 via different platforms. It could be enjoyed at home through different providers such as KTX, iWantTFC, Sky Cable PPV, and Cignal PPV. You can even watch it in selected provincial cinemas!

Charlie Dizon as Young Teddie (originally played by Toni Gonzaga)
Charlie Dizon will play the role of Theodora Grace ”Teddie” Salazar, previously played by Toni Gonzaga. Charlie has been a staple in several television commercials such as Nissin Cup noodles, Lactacyd, Globe Spotify, Palmolive anti-hair fall shampoo and Dole prior to appearing in movies. So far, her work includes minor roles in films such as Finally Found Someone, Loving in Tandem and Seven Sundays, all of which were released in 2017.
She will also star in the film Fan Girl as Jane, the quirky and die-hard fan of Paulo Avelino, who plays himself in the movie. The movie is directed by Antoinette Jadaone and had premiered in Japan at the Tokyo International Film Festival in October. The movie is also an official entry to the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival.
Alexa Ilacad as Bobbie (originally played by Bea Alonzo)
Alexa Ilacad will play the role of Roberta Olivia ”Bobbie” Salazar, previously played by Bea Alonzo. Alexa had started her showbusiness career early on, appearing in television commercials such as Vaseline shampoo when she was about five years old. She is commonly known as one of the alumni of the iconic kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit.
When she was in her teen years, she transitioned to playing teeny bopper roles in the sitcom Luv U and was paired with Nash Aguas. From there, she played several roles in Wattpad story adaptations such as Bagito. Apart from her endorsements and acting projects, Alexa also is a recording artist. She had released her first studio album under Star Records entitled “To The Moon And Back”, which contains 6 songs.
Gillian Vicencio as Alex (originally played by Angel Locsin)
Gillian Vicencio will play the role of Alexandra Camille ”Alex” Salazar, previously played by Angel Locsin. She already appeared in several films such as “Hellcome Home” (2019), a thriller film directed by Bobby Jr Bonifacio and stars Dennis Trillo, Beauty Gonzales and Raymond Bagatsing, and the film “Eerie” (2018) which stars Bea Alonzo, Charo Santos-Concio and Jake Cuenca. “Four Sisters Before The Wedding” will be her first movie wherein she plays one of the leading roles.
Belle Mariano as Gabbie (originally played by Shaina Magdayao)
Gillian Vicencio will play the role of Gabriella Sophia ”Gabbie” Salazar, previously played by Shaina Magdayao. Born Belinda Mariano, but commonly known as Belle, she started her career in the entertainment industry at an early age, with the kiddie gag show “Goin’ Bulilit”. She also appeared in several television shows such as “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and “Princess and I”.
She got her biggest break yet when she appeared in the television series “Lorenzo’s Time” in 2012. Of all her shows, she usually played the younger version of the main characters, just like her role in upcoming movie “Four Sisters Before The Wedding”.
