LAGUNA GOVERNOR ER Ejercito a.k.a. Jeorge Estregan was consistently late at the presscon of his festival entry, ang Shoot to Kill: Boy Golden (The Arturo Porcuna Story) at the Zirkoh Bar nitong Martes.
At least, his tardiness did not steal the spotlight from his leading lady KC Concepcion and Tonton Gutierrez (plus Abra who sang the theme song Midas) who earlier arrived at the event. It was worth the wait considering na umani ang press ng maraming “quotable quotes” from the actor-politician.
Indikasyon daw ang naganap noong isang taon, kung saan ang kanyang El Presidente entry lost to a Star Cinema film about adultery sa kategoryang Fernando Poe Jr. (his godfather) Memorial Award, gayong the major criterion was focused on national patrimony.
Gov.
Meanwhile, there’s a nagging pressure on its multi-awarded director, si Chito Roño. Sa unang pakikipagmiting daw kasi ni Gov. ER sa batikang direktor, sinabi niyang his past movies Manila Kingpin, El Presidente and one more (that escaped our memory) bagged a total of anywhere between 42 and 44 trophies.
ER.
Since all four are extremely competitive in their respective fields, sino kaya kina Gladys, Pauleen, Teri at Suzi will emerge the first likely half a million-peso winner? Get the hang of GMA’s first picture-aided general knowledge game show tomorrow after GMA News Weekend.
