BLIND ITEM: Kulang na lang ay isinuka ng isang mataas na paaralan somewhere in the Rizal Province ang young actor na ito for denying — in an interview — that he graduated from that school.
Because this matinee idol is, of course, pursuing his college studies ay sa kung saan-saang reputable universities siya kumuha ng entrance examination. Nariyan daw ang Unibersidad ng Pilipinas (UP), DLSU at Ateneo de Manila University.
Sadly, lagpak sa pagsusulit ang bagets. But time was fast ticking, kinailangan na raw mag-enrol ang young actor kung kaya’t binalikan niya ang pinagradweytan niyang high school in Rizal — which he earlier denied having graduated from — in securing the necessary requirements tulad ng certificate of good moral character para makapag-enrol sa ibang unibersidad.
The young actor obtained what he needed, bumagsak siya sa isang sister college ng isang tanyag na university somewhere in Manila, but it has a reputation of being the “dumping ground” of the wealthy yet average students.
For sure, the young actor’s father must be turning in his grave.
ESPESYAL ANG episode ngayong Sabado ng Kapamilya: Deal or No Deal as its host Luis Manzano celebrates his 31st birthday, and what better way to rejoice than having Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto as contestant trying her luck para masungkit ang P2-M prize at stake.
Of course, minana lang ni Luis ang hosting job ng KDND from Kris Aquino, but like his predecessor ay gamay na gamay nito ang game show. No doubt, Luis has fully equipped himself with the hosting demands as well as pressures so as not to pale in comparison with the show’s original host.
Ate Vi breaks the ice, “Ako, may trabaho. Although we, as his parents, are here to gudie him, kung anuman ‘yung naa-achieve niya in terms of his career, he has learned it all on his own.”
It wasn’t Gov/Ate Vi’s first time to guest on KDND, tandang-tanda pa niya noong si Kris ang host nito, she went home with P150 as in siyento singkuwenta pesos lang! With her son as the new season’s host, mas naging kumportable raw si Ate Vi, owing it to her familiarity with the nitty-gritty of the show plus the “hidden banker” na pinakikiusapan niyang itaas ang take-home prize.
If Ate Vi became richer by P2 million is something you should not fail to watch!
