TIME WAS WHEN the air of animosity hovered over the camps of Heart Evangelista and Bianca King. Walang nakaaalam kung paano nag-ugat ang alitang ‘yon, but one thing was for sure, nakaapekto ‘yon kina Heart at Bianca who even belonged to a group collectively known as Glam Girls.
Pero sa wakas, tinuldukan na ni Heart ang hidwaang ‘yon, siya na raw mismo ang lumapit kay Bianca, sabay “hi!” rito. In fairness, Bianca greeted her back.
“I was the one who initiated kasi parang alam n’yo ‘yon? Parang tama na, nakakapagod na rin. Besides, I’m active in the church, siguro, na-enlighten ang isip ko,” diretsong rebelasyon ni Heart when she guested on QTV’s Tweetbiz.
As if to further start with a clean slate all over again, masaya si Heart sa dalawang buwan nang relasyon nila ni Daniel Matsunaga, let her recent romantic past with Alicia (in Isabela) Vice Mayor Ian Dy stay where it should be.
Hindi nga napigilan ng writer na ito na nakabibilib ang candor o pagiging tapat ni Heart when she can choose to pretend or lie about her real feelings towards certain issues. Maging ang kasalukuyang estado nila ng kanyang ex-sweetheart na si Jericho Rosales ay hindi niya inilihim: “We’re not friends.”
MISMONG SI VICE Ganda na ang nag-isyu ng self-deprecating remark na mukha siyang kabayo, that makes him the perfect choice to reprise the role of Roderick Paulate in the remake of Petrang Kabayo.
Pero alam n’yo ba na hindi lang ito ang “equine element” ng naturang launching movie ni Vice Ganda? Included in the cast is Sam Pinto, and in case you don’t know, pinto is a horse type marked with patches of black and white.
Ayaw ring pakabog ni DJ Durano who admittedly possesses a horse-like characteristic. Ano ‘yon? Buong pagmamalaki kasing sinabi ni DJ na ga-kabayo ang kanyang ari, short of saying na puwede siyang bida kung magkakaroon naman ng remake ang Totoy Mola ni Jay Manalo.
Kitang-kita raw sa bukol ang asset na ‘yon ni DJ sa mga eksena sa Petrang Kabayo na naka-underwear lang. Partida pa raw ‘yon dahil Placido Domingo (flaccid o wa pa sa pagkatelag, gagah!) pa ang kanyang birdie. Ows?
Nanghihinayang lang si DJ na hindi na raw uso ang all the way na hubaran sa pelikula, otherwise he would have taken the pornographic plunge. But it’s never too late, indie films with scenes of nudity are in vogue these days. Baka sa susunod ay makumbinsi ni DJ si Direk Wenn Deramas to direct him in an indie film na siya ang bida with his big birdie tweeting… big birdie tweeting daw, o!
NARITO ANG IPINAGMAMALA-KING figures ng TV5 sa primeslot noong nakaraang Sabado, October 2.
Sa total household shares ng 6-10 pm: TV5 (30.6%); GMA (29.7%); ABS-CBN (24.5%).
Sa timeslot naman ng Talentadong Pinoy covering from 7:41 pm-9:19 pm, ang total individual shares ay: TV (33.6%); GMA (30.3%); ABS-CBN (22.8%).
These data, although nagba-vary ito at any given Saturday, should be taken seriously by the three networks. Hindi ito sapat na dahilan for the Kapatid Network to rest on its laurels, knowing na paiigtingin pa ng Kapuso at Kapamilya stations ang kanilang programming given their ranking.
Sa aminin naman kasi o hindi, TV5 has eaten a bigger chunk of the audience share, na dati’y parang isang malaking tipak na karneng pinag-aagawan ng dalawang asong gutom.
NAKAKUHA NG INSPIRASYON si Alyssa Alano mula kay Maja Salvador who enrolled herself at a speech clinic to polish her communication skills. Kaya naman bilang paghahanda sa kursong fashion designing which she intends to take up next schoolyear, Alyssa will enroll in an informal English language school anytime soon.
“Kasi, ‘di ba, Tito Ron, nagho-host na rin naman ako (on Startalk TX), so kailangan ko talagang matutong magsalita at least kahit basic English lang. Saka hindi kasi kami magkaintindihan ng kapatid ko ‘pag nag-uusap kami,” sey ni Alyssa referring to her half-sister Sandra Dee who’s based in Australia.
Alyssa realizes that a person equipped with skills to communicate with other people builds his/her confidence. “Siyempre, hindi ka mahihiyang makipag-usap sa tao kasi you know how to express yourself in English,” sey niya. Teka, naka-Ingles ang hitad, ah?!
And why fashion designing of all courses? “Ahhh, because I believe I am fashionable so I can be a fashion designer someday,” nawiling mag-Ingles si Alyssa.
