THERE IS A famous saying that “the eyes are the windows to the soul.” That it is easy to read people’s emotions through their eyes. Like how wide we open our eyes or how the muscles around them move easily reveals our true emotions. Nahuhuli natin kung ano ang nararamdaman ng ating kausap – kung sila ay masaya, malungkot, nagagalit, natatakot, nag-aalinlangan – just by looking at their eyes.
I have been in the industry for more than 20 years at bilang isang interviewer, my instinct tells me if someone is lying or hiding something from me because he has trouble looking at me directly. The interviewee’s real feelings are reflected in his eyes. Kaya alam ko kung in-love ang isang artista dahil may ibang ningning ang kanyang mga mata. Makukuha mo ang kilig at landi sa mata.
I have interviewed Billy Crawford and Nikki Gil several times in the past. The young couple’s love story is now out in the open. In the eyes of Crawford, Nikki is the only one. At ganoon din si Crawford sa mata ni Nikki. She looks smashing – it could be partly because she is happy that she has found the love she deserves. Nikki is one of the reasons why Crawford opted to stay in the country. Nakatutuwa silang panoorin when they are together. Their eyes reflect happiness and love for each other. The young couple is truly in-love!
Kasabay ng kanilang magandang pagtitinginan ay lalo namang gumaganda ang takbo ng kani-kanilang showbiz career. They are regularly seen on ASAP. Nikki is also part of the cast of the primetime series Florinda on ABS-CBN.
