MELISSA RICKS HAS blossomed into a fine young lady. The public first saw her fresh, innocent beauty when she joined the reality talent show Star Circle Teen Quest kung saan isa ako sa mga naging jurors kasama sina Ms. Gloria Diaz at Direk Lauren Dyogi.
Melissa’s beauty and talent landed her on many ABS-CBN shows like SCQ Reload, ASAP Fanatic, Komiks Presents: Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko, Iisa Pa Lamang and Kambal sa Uma. In Kambal sa Uma, Melissa plays Ella na ang panlabas na kaanyuan ay katulad sa isang daga. Her twin sister Vira (played by Shaina Magdayao) is adopted by a rich couple.
Like any teenager, maraming guys ang nali-link kay Melissa tulad nina Matt Evans, Jason Abalos and Jake Cuenca. Matt and Jason are Melissa’s co-stars in Kambal sa Uma. Matt is closest to Melissa among the three guys. Tatlong taon na ang kanilang loveteam. Although they spend more time together because of the tapings, wala raw namamagitan na romance sa kanilang dalawa. Is it possible for love to bloom between them? “I don’t know. Sanay kasi kaming magkasama everyday,” Melissa said. Sinabi niya na hindi raw madalas magpadala ng text messages si Matt sa kanya.
Jason once courted Melissa. “We’re better off as friends,” she said.
Jake was also smitten by Melissa’s beauty. Sinasabing tatlong beses daw nagpadala ng mga regalo gaya ng roses at pagkain si Jake kay Melissa. She disclosed that the hunk actor no longer sends her gifts.
Melissa revealed on The Buzz that she has a crush on model/ racer Matteo Guidicelli. “14 years old pa lang ako, crush ko na siya.” Magkaibigan daw sila ni Matteo.
Sino kaya ang lucky guy na makapagpapatibok sa puso ni Melissa? Abangan!
