TV5’S PRIMETIME Princess Jasmine Curtis Smith is out to prove she’s an exception to the rule.
May umuugong kasing balita that like Alex Gonzaga whose doors swung open noong nasa TV5 pa ito’y hindi maglalaong lilipat din si Jasmine sa ABS-CBN to join her elder sis Anne, but Jasmine is quick to belie the rumors, “So far, I’m happy with my home network,” whose contract expires in 2016.
Alagang-alaga raw kasi si Jasmine sa istasyon, true to its brand being the country’s Happy Network to work with. Now on its midweek, Jasmine breathes life into the bratty character of Venice Montes in TV5’s Wattpad Presents A House Full of Hunks na napapanood tuwing alas nuwebe ng gabi.
In the story based on an online book, Jasmine is flanked by five hunks na sina Vin Abrenica, Albie Casiño (who lost his youthful aura, para sa amin, dahil mukha na siyang tatay), Sandino Martin, Fil-Am John Spainhour, and Charlie Sutcliffe from Bristol, England.
While exposed to these drool-worthy men, asiwa pa rin pala si Jasmine sa mga lalaki. Asked who she’d rank the sexiest sa limang ‘yon, like a timid girl ay wa siya ispluk. Hayaan na lang daw na ibida ng mga machong ‘yon ang kani-kanilang nakakalaway na katangian.
Of the five, dalawa lang sa kanila ang aming nainterbyu: si John who had served in the US Maine Corps for five years at ipinadala sa giyera sa Iraq noong 2009, at si Charlie who was born to an English architect and to a hardworking mom who hails from Cebu.
Still learning to speak Tagalog, pumasa raw kay Jasmine ang matatas na delivery ni John ng mala-paragraph na speaking lines in the vernacular. Charlie has his Filipino girlfriend (named Monica na lumalabas sa isang canned tuna commercial) as his tutor, “But at times, she loses her patience with me.”
Sa mga dumaraming sumusubaybay ng top-rating week-after-week na TV adaptation na ito, may bukas pa at Biyernes this Valentine’s week para malaman who Jasmine will end up with among the five hunks.
