IBA ANG glow ni Jasmine Curtis-Smith lately. Lagi siyang mukhang inspired at blooming.
“Aj… he’s special!
“Well, people take it from what they see na lang. I don’t think I have to say anything more. ‘Coz we hang out. People see us naman. When there’s time, we hang out.
“Yeah! You know, ate is being interviewed about him. And she said na… mabait naman si Sam.”
“A… leave room for yourself. ‘Yon talaga. At saka… know your priorities.”
Right now, ‘yong kanyang pag-aaral pa rin ang una sa kanyang priorities. Pangalawa ang kanyang career.
Dati ay pabalik-balik lang siya sa from Australia to the Philippines. Pero ngayon, she decided to stay here for good at dito na rin mag-aral. Nag-enrol siya sa Ateneo de Manila University ng kursong Communication Arts, kung saan first year pa lang siya.
“I just found more opportunities here for me. To do well in work. With all the endorsements that I already have. And the hype that TV5 (her mother studio) is giving me. The opportunity is there. It’s a blessing. It could easily be given away to someone else. But it’s there. So why let it go? Kunin mo na, ‘di ba? Blessing ‘yan for you.”
Shot in Israel, this was produced by Direk Paul Soriano at idinirehe ng promising new filmmaker na si Hannah Espia.
“Super-saya ng pakiramdam ko. I’m so overwhelmed. I played the role bilang half-Pinay/half-Israeli na anak ni Tita Irma (Adlawan), isang OFW sa story. And I auditioned for the role talaga. Kasi kapag nag-audition ka, for me, I thought it’s an opportunity to show how serious I want to be as an actress. And talagang… learn more about the acting industry. Kasi… you can learn a lot having an acting coach sa set. Pero iba talaga kapag nagdi-depend ka sa sarili mo and your director to help you. And I found this as an opportunity to be more creative. To pursue my creativity na I have within, the artist’s thought that I do posses. So… ayon, I just want to experience din ‘yong audition process.”
“Of course!” nangiti niyang sabi. “About an hour lang naman tumagal ‘yong pagpila ko. Pero… patience is a virtue, ‘di ba? People know me as kapatid ni Anne Curtis. But I can’t rely on that. And to prove that I have substane.”
‘Yun na!
