Ito ang mga nakakikilig na palitan ng tanong nina Matteo at Jessy nang sila ay mag-guest sa Showbiz Inside Report noong February 23.
Mistulang galing sa script ng isang romantikong teleserye ang kanilang usapan na kung saan ang bidang lalaki ay nagtatanong sa kanyang leading lady kung may patutu-nguhan ba ang kanyang nararamdamang pag-ibig. Pero mukhang hindi naman magtatapos ang namumuong pagtitinginan nina Matteo at Jessy even if their love story as Brenan and Yanie in Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Paraiso comes to an end.
The two stars admitted on The Buzz that they are sad because they won’t get to spend as much time together anymore. Matteo revealed, “It was very hard to approach Jessy at first dahil she’s very quiet all the time, nasa tabi all time. Parang na-intimidate ako. As Paraiso went by, we spent two weeks in the island, we got so close together. After a while, we got to bond a lot. The last few weeks were the time we got even closer to each other.”
Sabi ni Jessy, “Mixed emotions po ako. I’m happy because I’ve been with Matteo and I’ve worked with a lot of people. Kind of sad too kasi siyempre iyong bonding namin, ang dami na naming natutunan sa isa’t isa tapos masaya kami kapag magkakasama.”
Posible namang tumawid sa real life ang kanilang onscreen romance, ‘di ba? Patunay rito ang kanilang mga photos on Instagram and Twitter which show their closeness. Kinumpirma dati ni Matteo na sila ni Jessy ang nasa larawan sa Twitter kung saan makikita ang isang babae na nakayakap sa isang lalaki.
Are they now ready to take their friendship to the next level? “Ang masasabi ko lang, Jessy and I are in a relationship [but] I don’t want to put any label. We’re not together. We’re not boyfriend, girlfriend or anything. But what we have, from my point of view and in my heart, Jessy is very special to me,” said Matteo.
Mukhang malaki ang pag-asa ng binata dahil sinabi ni Jessy that she’s only waiting for Matteo to court her. Kaya ang tanong: kailan magkaka-lakas ng loob si Matteo para ligawan si Jessy? “Like the song goes, take it slow. There’s still a long way to go. The longer you wait, mas maganda. I haven’t met her family yet.”
