Sa wakas, nagkatotoo na ang kasabihang “Pagkahaba-haba man daw ng prusisyon, sa simbahan din ang tuloy.” Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo tied the knot on the early morning of April 28 at the San Juan Nepomuceno Church in San Juan, Batangas. Fr. Tito Caluag officiated the wedding ceremony which was attended by the couple’s families and close friends like The Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Agot Isidro, Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Tito Alfie Lorenzo, Direk Joyce Bernal and Direk Rory Quintos. Judai and Ryan’s dream to have a very private and solemn wedding was realized.
There were many speculations regarding the wedding since Judai and Ryan got engaged during her 30th birthday celebration last year at the Antulang Beach Resort in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. Kailan nga ba ang exact date and would it be a beach, a private house or a church wedding? The guessing game lingered for a long time.
Judai and Ryan informed their guests about the wedding through emails, text messages and phone calls. They asked them about their full names, addresses and feet sizes. Lahat ay planado including their reception na mala-treasure hunt ang dating. The guests received an invitation that came in a package which contained one-half of a pair of white slippers. They were supposed to get the other half at the reception na nakasulat sa isang mapa ang location.
Judai looked resplendent in her wedding gown created by Paul Cabral while Ryan looked gorgeous in his three-piece gray and white suit created by Jerome Lorico. It was said that Judai never saw the church until her wedding day. Pinili ni Ryan ang lugar because malapit ito sa lugar kung saan ikinasal ang kanyang mga magulang.
The newlywed recently had an all-star wedding reception in Manila for those who could not attend their Batangas reception.
To Juday and Ryan, all the best!
Kaibigan, usap tayo muli!
