RUMORS ARE persistent that the rift between ni Alfie Lorenzo at his ward Judy Ann Santos has widened like a sink hole that it can swallow you down.
Apparently, the feud all started after Juday failed to acknowledge—deliberately or otherwise—Kuya Alfie as one of the few people she should express her gratitude to kung anuman ang kanyang narating sa showbiz.
It was supposed to be a shoot for an ABS-CBN material, kung saan Juday only mentioned her mom Carol and her nanny Yaya Binay, minus her managers name. But for whatever reason, only Juday knows.
Ang masaklap nga lang, the manager-artist rift seems to have gone overboard. May palitan na raw kasi ng mga maaanghang na salita, that anyone could not imagine how a once beautiful and ideal professional relationship has turned from sweet to sour, if not bitter.
Damay rin umano ang walang kamuwang-muwang na anak nina Juday at Ryan Agoncillo na si Lucho sa galit ng pamosong manager.
Sa ngayon, no cooler heads would dare intercede para pag-ayusin sina Kuya Alfie at Juday. Even Juday refuses to talk to her manager.
We feel sad for both dahil alam naman sa showbiz how much investment Kuya Alfie has put in para sumikat at ma-sustain ang career ni Juday, to the point that he would even pick up fights with ABS-CBN or anybody who’s hostile to his alaga.
For her part, grateful din naman si Juday sa ginagawang pagtatanggol ng kanyang ama-amahan sa kanya, at tinatanaw niya ‘yon ng malaking utang na loob.
But like any misunderstanding, it’s best that warring parties sit down, talk and thresh out their issue until peace is achieved.
And the earlier that Kuya Alfie and Juday do it, the better.
