JULIA BARRETTO is yet to be a thespic revelation when her ABS-CBN primetime series Mira Bella airs tonight.
Looks-wise, maganda ang rehistro ni Julia onscreen pero pagdating kaya sa pag-arte, is she anywhere close to her Tita Claudine (the best among the Barretto sisters)?
For now, irereserba muna namin ang judgment tungkol sa kanyang acting. Pero mas na-impress kami sa batang aktres na ito who intelligently pulled off some sensitive questions during the garden-themed presscon ng naturang teleserye.
The public is privy to what happened to her parents Marjorie and Dennis Padilla who now live separate yet happy lives. “The last time I saw my dad was during his birthday,” sabi ng dalaga, “But for sure, he’s proud of me most specially that I’m now the bida of a soap.”
Alam din ng lahat that to this day, the sibling rivalry between her aunts Gretchen and Claudine remains unresolved. Pero sa tanong namin kay Julia as to who between her two aunts ay kaninong mga yapak ang nais niyang sundan, the smart girl replied: “Career-wise, it’s Tita Claudine.”
What about her Tita Gretchen? “Oh, everything about her, her being fabulous! At pagiging madasalin niya.”
