NAGKALABASAN ng mga sama ng loob ang mag-amang Julia Barretto at Dennis Padilla kamakailan lang na mapapanood din sa vlog na in-upload ng dalaga sa kanyang Youtube channel. Dito ay inamin ni Dennis na nasaktan siya nang todo nang gustong papalitan ni Julia ang apilyedo niyang Baldivia.
“Kilalang-kilala ka na bilang Barretto kaya bakit kailangang palitan pa ang apelyido mo. Hindi ko maintindihan kasi isa kang Baldivia, anak kita,” pahayag ni Dennis sa anak.
Reaksyon naman ni Julia dito, “You always feel like ‘I’m not hearing from anyone,’ not knowing how much pain and hurt you’ve caused us before.
“That’s why you couldn’t hear from us because at that point, we were already too scared of you.”
Sa latter conversation ng dalawa ay dito na rin niya inamin na na-trauma siya at nakaramdam din ng takot sa ama.
“Before, when we would speak on the phone, you wouldn’t have the best tone and the best choice of words and that scarred, traumatized and scared me,” sey ni Julia.
Patuloy pa niya, “I didn’t ever give up. If I had given up, we wouldn’t be talking right now. I kept trying and that was painful for me. I was fighting so hard for our relationship despite all the words thrown at me by my own dad.”
“You have to look at why we aren’t talking to you. Why were we so scared to talk to you? You have to understand there were so much pain and fear.
“But I’m so glad that you have a good relationship with me and all of your kids now. I’m so proud of you because I saw the change, of heart,” direktang pahayag niya sa ama.
Sabi naman ni Dennis sa anak, “I’m building my faith again. I need to be restored. Binigyan ako ng chance mabuhay, makabawi sa Kanya, sa inyong lahat ng mga anak ko.”
