BASE SA inilabas na statement ng representative ng Thai superstar na si Mario Maurer ay nagulat daw ang aktor nang malaman nito na “ginagamit” siya ng isang Filipino personality for the last eight years.
Hindi pinangalanan ng Thai representative kung sino ang tinutukoy niyang Filipino personality pero malinaw na ito ay ang komedyanteng si Kakai Bautista na kamakailan lang ay pinadalhan ng demand letter ng legal team ni Mario.
“With regards to all the false stories made by this Filipino personality against Thai celebrity Mario Maurer and his management team, as well as our partner representative in the Philippines, we asked Mario directly for clarity and to shed light on the matter,” lahad ni Kris Chaovalit, the actor’s representative in Thailand.
“He is surprised that it has been eight years since his last movie in the PH and since then his name has been used in this false narrative made by this person and spread in PH social media as well as the news.
“He acknowledged that by nature, he is merely being accommodating and respectful at the time. But that does not mean this person should use his welcoming hospitality to invent stories beyond working with Mario,” patuloy pa ng representative ni Mario.
Mario together with actors Gulf Kanawut and Nonkul Chanon are the latest TNT ambassadors. They are now working in the same company that tapped such big names as Chris Evans and BTS in its campaigns.
Samantala, umaasa ang kampo ng Thai heartthrob na matitigil na ang pagkalat ng “false fantasy stories” tungkol sa aktor na aminadong super love nito ang kanyang Pinoy fans and supporters.
“Despite the nonstop trolling he is now experiencing from supporters of this person from the Philippines, Mario wishes her well and hopes that she finally stops spreading these false fantasy stories about him being involved with her romantically when it has always been just a cordial work-related tie between them,” wika pa niya.
Si Kakai ay isa sa supporting cast ng Star Cinema romantic film na Suddenly It’s Magic na pinagbibidahan ni Mario at Erich Gonzales. The film is produced by Star at ipinalabas noong 2012.
