Sa mismong araw ng ipinangako, natural na kukunin ng mga kliyente ang kanilang mga biniling ticket, but the singer-actress’s mobile phone could not be reached anymore.
Allegedly, may ilang Pinoy have been victimized. Sensing that her clients would file appropriate charges against her, in a haste ay nag-impake siya patungong Amerika.
Da who ang singer-actress na ‘yon? She belonged to a “trio,” dalawa sa kanyang mga dating kamiyembro are still active in the business.
NAIULAT THAT beleaguered Kapuso actress already left for Switzerland last Monday, January 14. Gabi raw ang kanyang flight on a still undetermined airline, reportedly accompanied by her manager Annabelle Rama’s aides-de-camp.
Prior to this, tinuluyan na siyang idemanda ng GMA at GMA Artist Center. The TV network slapped her with breach of contract with the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office. Libel is considered as a criminal case; the other, being contract breach, is civil in nature. For the two cases, pinagbabayad si Sarah ng korte ng P8.5 million.
In her Twitter statement, ibinunyag ni Sarah ang mga umano’y alingasngas sa GMAAC where she claims to have fallen victim to. Isa na rito ang umano’y pangangaltas sa kanya ng 25% ng naturang departamento, and another 15% by ICONS.
Stress din ang dahilan kung bakit she has decided to leave for Switzerland, however, leaving behind a string of TV assignments to the detriment of the network.
But there’s more to Sarah’s departure. Maugong kasi ang balitang she’s heavy with a child. By whom, who else but by her boyfriend Richard Gutierrez.
Pero ayon mismo sa ina ng aktor, si Annabelle Rama, nang tawagan ng kaibigang Gorgy Rula, the feisty artist manager categorically denied na buntis si Sarah. Earlier kasi, such speculations about Sarah’s pregnant condition grew wilder dahil sa safe, if not leading statement mismo ni Tita Annabelle taking the cudgels for the actress if indeed ay nagdadalantao nga ito.
Having said all this, we can only surmise the implications of Sarah’s legal battle against her home studio. Makaapekto kaya ito sa working relationship ni Richard sa GMA in obvious defense of the woman he loves?
Kung makakabalik man si Sarah to the fold, does she stand to regain her lost career? Lest we forget, it was the TV station that paved the way for that little stardom she’s now basking in. Here’s hoping that GMA and Sarah come into terms.
HAS FORMER EB Babe Lian Paz found a new love?
