BINASH NANG husto ang stylist na si Liz Uy dahil sa palpak na gown na ipinasuot niya kay Maine Mendoza recently.
With that ay napilitan tuloy magsalita ang stylist.
“Maine’s gown was chosen among several gowns because its style best fitted the show’s Cinderella theme. The gown, which was first showcased at Francis Libiran’s fashion show as part of his Bangalore collection, was purchased by Tape, Inc. for the event,” esplika ng dalaga sa Style Bible.
Kasi naman, Liz did not do her homework. Dapat tinanong niya kay Francis Libiran kung nasuot na ng artista ang gown at kung kailan ito ginawa. She could have asked him for his latest creations. Apparently, she was a remiss at ni hindi niya natanong ang mga bagay na dapat itanong.
Ito naming make-up artist ni Maine na Juan Sarte ang name ay nakisawsaw and explained sa kanyang Facebook account what happened.
“There was a custom-made gown for Maine but it turned out medyo plain for the event (considering one week lang to from announcement to actual event). Liz wanted it [Maine’s outfit] to be a notch higher for the big event that’s why she pulled out ready-to-wear gowns from designers.
“The Francis Libiran gown was a pull-out/fall back pero mas bumagay kasi sa modern Cinderella theme you all enjoyed. Kaya rin naka-tail coat si Alden (in case you didn’t understand why).
“Liz cleared with Francis Libiran and he said it has never been worn except in his fashion show. It’s not a hand-me-down from Kim Chiu because she doesn’t own the gown. Liz didn’t ‘recycle’ the gown, because hindi naman siya ang stylist ni Kim.
“Binili ang gown! Sa panahon na almost lahat ng clothes na sinusuot ng artista sa TV at appearances ay ‘hiram’…bravo kay Mr. Tuviera for buying the gown! The man doesn’t believe in ‘patronage politics.’ So ano ang recycle doon?
“Kung na-achieve ng buong show na pasayahin ka at nag-enjoy ka naman, bakit kailangan gawing nega ang event?”
“Sana huwag nyo na idamay yung good vibes ng show.”
That was Juan Sarte’s long aria.
Whatever you say, the fact remains na nasuot na ni Kim Chiu ang gown na ipinasuot ni Liz kay Maine.
So, are you saying na okay lang na ang suot ng pinakasikat na artista ay nasuot na two years ago ng isang kapwa niya artista?
That leaves a bad taste in the mouth!!!
