MARAMI ang nabigla sa desisyon ng Fil-American actress na si Liza Soberano na kumalas sa kanyang manager for 11 years na si Ogie Diaz. Ikinagulat din ng marami ang desisyon nito na pumirma sa Careless Manila, ang talent management na pagmamay-ari ni James Reid.
Ayon sa isang panayam kay Liza Soberano na ipinost sa MYX Global’s Instagram page noong May 29, matagal na raw pangarap ni Liza na makapasok sa US entertainment scene.
“It feels very surreal. I’m actually very nervous right now because this is my first time speaking on a stage in America. It has always been a dream of mine to come over here and being able to do work here so I am really happy, [excited] and feel incredibly honored,” sambit nito sa hosts na sina Sherry Cola at Dumbfoundead.
May payo din si Liza sa mga female dreamers tulad niya to ‘just go for it’.
“A lot of times, it can be scary to kind of go outside your comfort zone and I myself, I am experiencing that right now,” pag-amin niya.
“It would be so much easier for me to stay back at home and do the same thing that I’ve always been doing. But my personal goal is to be able to bridge the gap between the Philippines and America and kind of help the younger generation, the little girls, who also dream of coming out here and making a career for themselves. I want to make it easier for them when they do that in the future and if that means me taking the first leap, so be it.”
Inalala din ng aktres ang kanyang ‘fun’ but ‘difficult’ voice acting experience nang gawin niya ang ‘Trese’, na nagkaroon ng mixed reviews. Inalala din niya ang experience niya bilang ambassadress ng Save the Children Philippines.
Kahit hindi pa ibinubunyag ni Liza ang mga upcoming projects niya, kitang-kita na excited ang dalaga para sa bagong landas na tatahakin ng kanyang karera.
“[It involves me] trying to explore different opportunities out here and in the Philippines, stuff I’ve never done before, so please watch out for that,” sambit pa niya.
Excited rin kami para kay Liza, pero hindi namin mapigilang isipin kung parte pa ba ang boyfriend na si Enrique Gil sa kanyang Hollywood plans?
