IT’S OFFICIAL: Liza Soberano joins James Reid’s Careless Music!
Nakumpirma ito sa ginanap ng press conference kahapon, kung saan present ang dalawang bituin.
Sa press conference, sinabi ni Liza na she’s looking forward to work with the record label na kilala raw sa pag-aalaga ng ‘young talent’.
“The fact that they work with young creatives — I’m currently 24 — so it’s very exciting and encouraging to see a lot of people pursuing their dreams and passion at a very young age in a way that they wanna do it,” saad ni Liza Soberano.
Dahil diumano sa meeting ni Liza sa team ni James Reid, mas nabigyan daw ito ng confidence na mag-explore pa lalo at madiscover ang mga gusto pa niyang gawin sa kanyang career.
“I was looking for personal growth in my career. I’ve been working in the industry for 12 years now and I’ve been working with pretty much the same set of people that I’ve been working since then, not to say that I’m not grateful, not to say that I haven’t achieved so much by working with them but as I got older, I started discovering who I really was and I wanted more control over how to express that,” sambit pa ni Liza sa mga reporters.
“I also wanted to work with people my age to be honest … and when I met James and his team it really made me even more excited to work with because their team is so young, so creative and they are so fearless to take risks and try to chase after things that we would think is impossible,” dagdag pa niya.
Maliban kay Liza, ipinakilala rin si Yssa Pressman, ang nakababatang kapatid ni Yassi Pressman, bilang isa sa bagong talents ng Careless Music. Umaasa ang dalaga na magagabayan siya ng kanyang bagong management pagdating sa music.
Kaabang-abang kung ano ang mangyayari sa bagong yugto ng showbiz career ni Liza Soberano ngayon na ito’y kumalas sa kanyang longtime manager na si Ogie Diaz at pumirma sa isang record label/talent management. Will she record an album? Makakagawa ba ng Hollywood projects si Liza?
