Maine Mendoza has been clowning around for a year now and she makes everyone happy on the set of “Eat… Bulaga!”’s Juan for All, All for Juan segment.
But if there’s one thing that Maine is not comfortable doing, it’s mag-drama pala in a soap opera.
Although she’s appeared in “Princess in the Palace” as Chef Elize, still her comfort zone is comedy and not drama.
This, she articulated during the presscon for her and Alden Richards’ movie “Imagine You and Me”.
“Kasi po ang feeling ko ay hindi pa po ako ready (na gumawa ng teleserye). Ang feeling ko ay ang dami ko pang dapat pagdaanan before ako lumabas sa teleserye,” say ni Maine Mendoza.
“Nahihirapan pa po talaga ako. Ang hirap pong sabayan ni Alden, kasi forte niya ‘yung drama. Ako, comedy kasi ako. Alam mo naman, araw-araw sa “Bulaga” comedy ang ginagawa namin doon. So, sobrang struggle talaga sa akin every time na may drama scenes,” dagdag pa niya.
Sorry na lang AlDub fans, ha? We were invited sa presscon ng “Imagine You and Me”. Hindi totoo ang sinabi ni Elsa na walang himala. Say nga ni Carlo Aquino, “Akala mo lang wala, pero meron!”
