Nakakalokang malaman na she’s title conscious pala as rumors of her camp’s pambubulabog in one TV show surfaced.
Apparently, nalaman yata ng kampo ni Marian na Carla Abellana was introduced as Primetime Queen when she guested in one show. Alarmed, kaagad daw na nagtawag ang kampo ni Marian to check if it was indeed true. Siyempre nga naman, she was bequeathed the title tapos bigla na lang siyang tatanggalan ng korona.
But it turned out that Carla was just introduced as primetime actress lang so there was nothing to worry about.
Why is Marian’s camp so title conscious? The Primetime Queen moniker no longer holds true for her, ‘no!
Yes, many years ago, bagay na bagay sa kanya ang titulong ‘yon but now that she’s experienced teleserye flops one after another ay hindi na apt para sa kanya ang nasabing titulo. Out of courtesy na lang sa kanya ‘yon because she once was a reigning Primetime Queen.
As for Carla, mukhang steady naman ang kanyang primetime success. Her My Destiny soap is really rating and we wouldn’t be surprised of it merits an extension.
Compared to Marian, hindi hamak naman na mas maganda ang image ni Carla. While it is true that she has had skirmishes with the press in the past, and had a seemingly never ending war with her ex-boyfriend Geoff Eigenmann, she never had stories of rift with prime leading ladies. Wala siyang ikinulong sa CR stories, walang jealousy fits kuwento about her.
