There’s no denying the fact that over at TV5, ang tambalang Mark Neumann–Shy Carlos is one tandem to beat.
Fresh from the success of their fantaserye “Tasya Fantasya” na nagtapos na nitong Sabado, such warm reception accorded to their loveteam should spill over on to the next TV5 project—still in alliance with Viva Communications—will hopefully transcend their teenybopper image.
In short, via a commercial teledrama reminiscent of many Viva blockbuster movies, not necessarily adapted for TV. This is Viva Films’ strength kung saan it gave birth to the Sharon Cuneta-Gabby Concepcion pairing, at sa dami ng kanilang mga pelikula—all of which made a killing at the box office—Mark and Shy can star in them.
It’s about time both Mark Neumann and Shy Carlos took their acting to a serious level, portraying offbeat roles as a total departure from their pa-cute image. Why not, ‘di ba?
