Out of the 30 official candidates for this year’s Miss Manila 2017, na patimpalak ng City of Manila sa pamumuno ni Mayor Joseph Estrada, karamihan sa kanila ay gustong sundan ang yapak ni Pia. Ang Pagkapanalo sa naturang beauty competition ay nagbigay sa kanya ng maraming pagkakataon at suwerte sa buhay.
Ilan sa mga candidates ay gustong pasukin sng showbiz or nasa showbiz na like candidate #7 na si Sofia Sibug na isa pala Star Magic Talent ng Kapamilya Network. Sofia’s showbiz name is Sofia Romero and she’s only 22 years na during the press presentation today held at the Manika Hotel at naging instant favorite siya. Ang ilan ay gusto maging professional models at syempre, silang 30 candidates want to be part of a bigger beauty competition tulad ng Miss World and Miss Universe kapag pinalad.
Ang nakababatang kapatid ng dating Beauty Queen na si Daisy Reyes na kinalaunan ay pinasok na rin ang showbiz ay kabilang sa mga kandidate for the Miss Manila 2017.
Fabulous ang pa-premyo na pakakawalan ng City of Manila sa mga mananalo sa Miss Manila 2017 na gaganapin ang coronation night on June 24 at 7:00 in the evening sa Philippine International Convention Center(PICC).
To be crowned as Miss Manila 2017, she will receive P1 million worth of prizes(consisting of P500,000 management contract and P500,000 in cash); 1st Runner-up P350,000; 2nd Runner-up P250,000; 3rd Runner-up P150,000 and 4th Runner-up P100, 000 all in cash and a contract with Viva Films.Proceeds for this year’s pageant will benefit MARE Foundations, a non-profit institution headed by Chairperson and Pageant Director Ms. Jackie Ejercito.
The beauty competition will be telecast on ABS-CBN’s Sunday’d Best on June 25 after Gandang Gabi Vice.
