ANNE CURTIS is one of the most beautiful girls in the country. She is an intelligent actress with box-office powers, a good host, and a trusted product endorser. ‘Ika nga, waging-wagi si Anne kaya she has all the reasons to celebrate.
Sa presscon ng isang endorsement ay inamin ni Anne sa ABS-CBNnews.com that she wants to become a pre-school teacher someday kaya naman she enrolled in an open university in Australia to fulfill her dream to finish her studies.
According to an article by Reyma Buan-Deveza ay nagkuwento si Anne, “Sa open university in Australia, it depends on what unit, or what topic, or what subject you want to take up. It will put you in the right college. Right now, I do English Literature. In the upcoming semester, I will be doing Early Education.”
Dagdag pa niya, “Gusto kong maging pre-school teacher one day. Alam ko na hindi ko siya matatapos in four years, which is when you are full-time, but the whole point na they encourage you to pursue iyong studies mo kahit in the long run, kahit ilang units lang iyong kukunin mo [is a good thing]. Iyong English Literature nga, I’m just very lucky na kahit na mag-switch ako, sabi nila, it’s still an elective.
Education knows no boundaries – wala itong pinipiling edad, kasarian, at estado sa lipunan.
Indeed, what a brave girl this Anne Curtis is! She is a testament that, yes, dreams come true and you can make the impossible possible. All you need is to believe.
Kaibigan, usap tayo muli!
