KUNG MAY higit na natutuwa sa pagbabati nina Wilma V. Galvante at Annabelle Rama (na naganap sa post-birthday celebration ng dating GMA executive, thanks to the intercession of Mother Lily), ito’y sa pangunguna ni Richard Gutierrez as well as the other talents of the latter’s mom with GMA.
Although Ma’am Wilma formally retired as the network’s Senior Vice President for Entertainment TV when she turned 60 last February 24, kahit paano, she still wields her connections. Kumbaga, titulo lang ng puwesto ang iniwan ni WVG, but in principle, the one who replaced her will still need her advice.
Ang pamamaalam ni WVG ang nagpalambot ng puso ni Annabelle, who admittedly missed those times when she would hang around her office for tsikahan. As everybody knows, nagkalamat ang pagkakaibigan ng dalawa when Annabelle had accused the lady executive of “snatching” JC de Vera from her. This led to Annabelle’s pulling JC out of the network and transferring him to TV5.
Sinundan ito ng masasakit na salitang
ipinaabot ni Annabelle kay Ma’am Wilma, dahilan para sampahan niya ito ng demanda. Yet all this time, even if the case is still pending, WVG had never resorted to any retaliatory action against Richard nor any of Annabelle’s talents, at ito ang na-realize ni Annabelle.
For her part, Annabelle just waited for the right time to smoke the peace pipe with WVG. But it had to take a go-between, si Mother Lily who prayed for their reconciliation. Kahit noong kasagsagan ng away nina WVG at Annabelle, Mother Lily had chosen to take a neutral side.
With this new development sa masalimuot na buhay ni Annabelle, do we see her bowing her head (and on bended knees?) to Nadia Montenegro upon the proddings of the Regal matriarch? Lest we forget, Nadia was once a Regal baby na “iniluwal” din ni Mother Lily.
In our opinion, hindi ‘yon mangyayari sa malapit na hinaharap, not when no amount of intercession by any neutral party can turn animosity back to friendship. Hindi puwedeng ikumpara ang kaso ni Annabelle kay Ma’am Wilma sa kaso niya with Nadia simply because there was no deep attachment between them to begin with.
Also, unlike the WVG-Annabelle case, the one with Nadia involves her children (and Annabelle’s son Richard, too). Kung sina Annabelle at Nadia lang marahil ang sangkot, then it would be easier for them to kiss and make up.
But for now, magme-make up na lang sila nang bonggang-bongga to look fresh and beautiful each time their paths cross in court.
By the way, hindi na namin ise-share ang off-mic and off-camera comment ni Nadia tungkol sa pagbabati nina Ma’am Wilma at Annabelle lest we be the next target of the latter’s libel charge, but it had something to do with “money”.
TIYAK NA isusumpa ng mga manonood ngayong Miyerkules sa Face To Face si Ruben dahil sa kanyang pananakit — verbal as well as physical — sa sariling inang si Mamay Salvacion. Pinamagatang Kung ‘Di Pa Sinagip Ng Kapitbahay, Nanay Na Kinulong Ng Anak Baka Tuluyan Nang Bumigay!, ipinaghihimutok ni Ruben ang hindi niya pagtuntong sa paaralan kaya nagagawa niya ito sa ina, bagay na pinapaboran ng kapatid niyang si Veronica.
Abangan naman bukas, Huwebes, ang kuwentong Partner Ng Buhay Ko Siyang Itinuring Pero Sa Ibang Lalaki Siya Nagpagiling-giling! Reklamo naman ito ni Nick sa tropa niyang si Carlo na nang-agaw ng kanyang nobyang si Johanes Joy. Sa sumbong ng isang kaibigan, natunton ni Nick ang pinagtsek-inang motel nina Carlo at Joy, kaya naman sumulak ang kanyang dugo’t muntik nang makapatay.
