WE WERE invited by fans of Ate Guy para sa post-birthday party nila for the Superstar.
When Ate Guy came, talagang dinumog siya ng kanyang loyal fans from different fan clubs. Merong program for the Superstar and some of those who came to give support were Boy Palma, her manager, John Rendez, Rap Fernandez, Gerald Santos, Ken Chan, and many more.
When it was announced during the party na Taklub was awarded the ECUMENICAL JURY PRIZE of Un Certain Regard sa Cannes 2015 last May 23 ay lalong nagbunyi ang fans ni Ate Guy.
“The prize of the Ecumenical Jury is an independent film award for feature films at major international film festivals since 1973. The award was created by Christian filmmakers, critics and other film professionals. The objective of the award is to “honour works of artistic quality which witnesses to the power of film to reveal the mysterious depths of human beings through what concerns them, their hurts and failing as well as their hopes,” sabi pa sa amin sa isang text message.
NATAWA KAMI sa chikang pinalayas sa red carpet ang coterie of alalays and extras na kasama ni Brillante Mendoza sa red carpet sa Cannes. Si Nora raw ang hinahanap ng organizer kaya naman pinalayas ang mga alalay ni Direk Brillante na pawang walang name.
Buti nga sa inyo, masyado kasi kayong sabik sa red carpet kaya ayan ang napala ninyo.
Anyway, under investigation daw ngayon si Direk Brillante dahil sa economy tickets na kanyang ibinigay kay Ate Guy kaya hindi na tumuloy ang Superstar. Ang akala siguro ni Direk ay go-go pa rin si Ate Guy, kahit na economy ang ticket nito. Puwes, doon siya nagkamali.
Masyadong bilib sa sarili itong si Direk Brillante. Ang feeling niya, porke’t nanalo na siya sa Cannes ay karangalan na ni Nora na makatrabaho siya. It’s the other way around, darling, mas karangalan mo ang makatrabaho ang Superstar, ‘no!
Magtigil ka sa ilusyon mo!!!
